5 men who could eliminate Brock Lesnar from the Royal Rumble

Who can get this beast over the top rope?

The Royal Rumble is only a week away, and one of the top competitors in the match is none other than the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar himself. In all likelihood, he is not going to win the match, so the question is: who is going to eliminate him?

The obvious answer might be Goldberg, since they are presumably set to lock horns again at WrestleMania, but that doesn't mean that other options aren't on the table.

These are 5 men who might be able to eliminate Brock Lensar from this year's Royal Rumble match.

#5 Samoa Joe

The Samoan Submission Machine could take out The Beast Incarnate

A lot of buzz has been stirring up about Samoa Joe, who has been working on the NXT level for far longer than anybody had initially expected. He hasn't been on their TV show since losing his title to Nakamura in Japan, however, and has barely even done any dark matches or house shows.

It's almost a lock that he will be making his main roster debut in the Royal Rumble match next week.

Speculation has him actually winning the whole thing, possibly as part of Vince McMahon's big surprise that the fans are apparently going to love this year at WrestleMania, according to reports.

If Joe does win (or even if he doesn't), being the man to eliminate Brock Lesnar in front of a potential crowd of 60,000 people would be a gigantic moment for his debut. It would also be sure to lead to an eventual one-on-one match between the men, which has long been a dream match for many fans.

#4 The Miz

Could he eliminate Lesnar en route to winning the Royal Rumble match?

There is a section of people online right now who are calling their shot and saying that The Miz will be the man to walk out of San Antonio as the new number one contender.

After losing the Intercontinental Championship so quickly, it definitely appears to be a distinct possibility that The Awesome One could be punching his ticket to WrestleMania by winning the Royal Rumble match.

His trademark is being opportunistic and sneaky, and that could be what helps him get Brock Lesnar out of the Royal Rumble match. Imagine that Lesnar, Goldberg and Braun Strowman are all in the ring at the same time. They lay waste to each other, and Miz tries to pick up the pieces.

He fails at all three, lastly Lesnar. Goldberg charges at Miz, but he moves out of the way and it ends up causing Brock to fall out to the apron. Miz gets in Goldberg's face, gets pushed backwards, and knocks Lesnar off and to the floor.

Stranger things have happened.

#3 The Undertaker

He’s one of the top picks and has unfinished business with Lesnar

Here's one that doesn't seem too out of place. The Undertaker is one of the men considered to be a favourite to win the match, and one man he can eliminate to get there is his old nemesis, Brock Lesnar.

The feud culminated in a Hell in a Cell match, and Brock was victorious. This elimination can be their final interaction, with the right man getting the last laugh.

I'd honestly like to see Taker get rid of both Lesnar and Goldberg, who would be so busy paying attention to each other that they would fail to protect themselves from one of the most dangerous men in the match.

#2 Shane McMahon

It’s out of left field, but weirder things have happened

There is unfinished business here, as Shane took an F-5 from Lesnar after the controversial SummerSlam match with Randy Orton.

There were rumours a while ago that Shane vs. Brock could happen at WrestleMania, and while that's a very unlikely scenario now, this can still be some retribution for Shane and maybe lead to a post-WrestleMania match between the two men.

Shane probably won't be in the Rumble match, but then again we did see him in the big RAW vs. Smackdown Live match at Survivor Series, so he could certainly have a spot in San Antonio.

#1 Tye Dillinger

Tye Dillinger could enter at 10 and toss Lesnar out of the Rumble

This would be a pretty insane thing to happen. Tye Dillinger has an opportunity this year to be the number 10 entrant in the Royal Rumble match, and it would be a great moment to see him get such a gigantic elimination.

I’m not being crazy here… once he gets the elimination it would make Brock go insane, and the aftermath would be similar to what happened back in 2002 when Maven eliminated The Undertaker.

Chances are that Tye isn’t on his way up to the main roster quite yet, and his character already has some self-doubt built in, so a big, confidence boosting elimination followed by a massive beat-down would fit right in with what WWE is currently doing with Dillinger in NXT.

Plus, even with getting attacked afterwards, eliminating Brock Lesnar is still a peg that he can hang his hat on for a little while.
