Yes, it is happening again! Yes, we wanted to see the iconic Brock versus Lashley! But we shouldn't ruin the match by booing, right?

Their matches have always been incomplete and a bit too dragged but we should keep in mind that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are two of the best performers today.

SummerSlam appears to be shaping up for a pay-per-view with something for everyone. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe will meet the hardcore lovers, Ronda Rousey the badass rookie will have everyone’s eye, but we all will agree to the fact that Lesnar’s matches have a completely different aura, a new level of enthusiasm, and yet again the main event would be seen by everyone but would still be calmed overrated.

At WrestleMania 34, the fans weren't too pleased with the Universal Title Match. The greatest Royal Rumble wasn’t any different, so it is not surprising to expect same from their match at the PPV, Summerslam but here, I offer you all five reasons why the WWE universe should enjoy the showdown between "The Big Dog" and "The Beast Incarnate."

#5 A Successful Build Up

Ad

Though this might not be the primary event that fans inquired, WWE have done a good job in building up to the Roman Reigns v Brock Lesnar match. Lesnar attacked Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman in one section, portraying himself as an arrogant bully who seemingly has everything. The next week we see Lesnar attacking the ‘Big Dog’ after Heyman blinded Reigns with a pepper spray.

With the part-time Universal Champion being disrespectful and assaulting fan favourites, the live audience even cheered for Roman Reigns. This story has also made the business's top star more likeable, particularly when compared with the former UFC champion.

#4 Fans are behind Roman Reigns

Chris Jericho said, "For many years, fans simply boo John Cena because they believe it's the trendy thing to do but not paying any interest to what he is really doing. That is what Roman, currently."

The words from Chris Jericho couldn't be more accurate. Nowadays, fans are holding onto a concept and an argument that is more than three years old. Wrestling fans say Reigns cannot wrestle, he is a dreadful promo, and he can only have great matches with wrestlers like AJ Styles. It can be compared to MMA fans stating Conor McGregor can't beat top UFC fighters. It's an obsolete argument.

Roman Reigns is has now become decent in his promos. He makes people care, whether they boo or cheer. Also, he has had so many terrific games; WWE can justifiably make a best of Roman Reigns DVD. We are at a stage where there isn't any argument against the Shield member. He's among the best performers in the company, and he has proved it again by defeating Bobby Lashley.

#3 The booking

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have been in three matches, and just one has been sub-par, their cage match at Saudi Arabia. So if the two of the very best are wrestling, it is enough as a reason to sit down and enjoy the show. Not only is the Big Dog among the finest in WWE but also has been treated unfairly, on the other hand, Brock Lesnar has a track record that demonstrates he's one of the brutal wrestlers (possibly ever).

Lesnar has had many terrific matches, including one with Roman Reigns in WrestleMania 31. He's a performer who knows how to grab the audience’s attention. Just watch how he offered his knee injury against AJ Styles. He might be a part-timer, but he's certainly among the best to lace up a pair of boots.

#2 Fans' reactions to main events

Extreme Rules 2018 may go down as the night where wrestling fans were known to be among the most hypocritical fan bases in the world. It isn’t wrong on the part of the fans to expect something great, it's basic human tendency.

How often have fans whined and pleaded for Superstars such as Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler to go on last rather than Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar? A lot. How often have fans complained about the situation of the Intercontinental title? Many times. But when they are got what they asked for, rather than cheering on two leading performers, Pittsburgh strove to entertain them by cheering for a clock.

How can anyone blame Vince McMahon for placing his favourite stars back at the peak of the bill following a response like that? If there was ever a right to complain about the main event of the SummerSlam, it's been removed due to the crowd of the Pittsburgh.

#1 What's left?

Above all, we as wrestling fans often forget why we attend these huge shows. It is to be amused by some of the first-class wrestlers on the planet. Sure there are grounds to disagree with all the booking of this Universal Title, but when the game includes two leading skills that are capable of producing a fantastic match, why destroy it with dumb chants.

What if this turns out to be Lesnar's last match? What if Kevin Owens/ Braun Stroman cash in the money in the bank contract? There is a lot on the stake and the WWE Universe should be patient with this boking for one last time.
