5 ways Renee Young could get involved in the Ambrose-Rollins feud

Dean Ambrose is one of the most secretive men in sports entertainment. At a time when almost every activity of every WWE superstar is chronicled on social media, he remains an enigma because he is not on Twitter! On the other hand, his wife, Renee Young is one of the most active WWE personalities when it comes to social media. In many ways, she is a doorway for fans to the Lunatic Fringe.

Why I've prefaced my article with such a lengthy paragraph is because some big storyline seems to be in the works. Renee Young and Corey Graves bickered continuously during the Ambrose vs. Rollins match at TLC. Michael Cole played peacekeeper by asking Corey Graves to shut up and focus on his task at hand.

What does WWE have planned for Renee Young in the weeks that follow, on RAW and on pay-per-view? Let me try and make a few guesses in this particular article.

#5 Double turn at the commentary desk

Corey Graves has been probing and prodding at Renee Young to find out what the motivations of her recently turned husband are. Young has been very defensive and reluctant to divulge any details. She has continuously claimed that she is the easy target because of her relationship with the Intercontinental Champion.

Could we see her turn heel, in line with her husband's actions? Maybe she can take up the role that Corey Graves has made his own and actually root for the heel characters. Graves is a popular commentator and the WWE Universe could buy into him as a babyface, if needed.

Brie Bella turned heel, and this was followed by Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live. It helps when husband and wife play the same kind of character.

#4 She becomes Dean Ambrose's on-screen manager

Can you imagine Rusev without Lana by his side? The Miz seemed a lot more important and powerful, when the lovely Maryse accompanied him to the ring. Going further back in history, one could always talk about The Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Sports entertainers have been accompanied to the ring by their better halves, for quite some time.

Could Renee Young take up this role for her husband and become his on-screen manager? It would be a nice role for Young, which could be a much better fit for her talent than the commentary desk. As good an announcer as Bobby Heenan was, he will first and foremost be known as a manager.

Ambrose's character has seemed confused since his turn and having Young by his side will add a bit of character. She could cheat to help him retain his title.

#3 She slaps Corey Graves, the two are put on separate brands

We all know that Corey Graves is on both brands. This is because he is the only announcer that roots for the bad guys and buys into their motivation. By having Renee Young show her true colours, she too could assume this role on RAW. And this could potentially lead to a blowout between the two.

Irked by the fact that Corey Graves is harassing her, Young could potentially slap him hard. In the ensuing fracas, Stephanie McMahon could send either Young or Graves away to the other brand, while taking away their RAW announcing rights. Graves may become exclusive to one brand then.

How does this help? I have always felt that having an exclusive announce team keeps things a lot fresher.

Young should be in the same brand as her husband, at all times though.

#2 She costs Seth Rollins the Intercontinental title rematch

Dean Ambrose picked up a clean win against Seth Rollins at WWE TLC to win the Intercontinental Championship. It is almost certain that the two men will clash again in the contractual rematch. And when the two do collide, chances are that Rollins will be booked to look much stronger.

And then, when he seemingly has the match won, Renee Young could stand up at the commentary table and cause a distraction. This would allow Dean Ambrose to pick up the win. It would allow Ambrose to retain the Championship while Rollins moves on to other things, in weeks that follow.

This may not necessarily be a one-off thing either. Renee Young could constantly cause distractions from the commentary table, helping her husband win his Intercontinental Championship matches.

#1 She is revealed as the mastermind for Dean Ambrose's heel turn

Have we received an explanation for why Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins? No, we haven't. What if it is revealed in the weeks that follow that Renee Young was the mastermind behind the heel turn. And she orchestrated everything because she wanted Ambrose to do bigger things in his career.

Ambrose was always the underdog in The Shield, was he not? Roman Reigns was the chosen one for the company and Seth Rollins was the chosen one for the WWE Universe. Dean Ambrose was just around, acting as the cool and deranged dude.

She could have pulled the strings and made him turn on his Shield brother, so as to launch his singles career. This could potentially be a massive heel turn, if it happens.

And then, move on to point number 4!
