5 Ways That Brock Lesnar Could Return To WWE

Brock Lesnar may have lost the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. He may be focused on his UFC career as I write this. That does not mean that he cannot return for a spell to WWE in due course of time. In fact, it's almost a certainty that the Beast will come searching for his prize.

In this article, I shall predict 5 ways for him to return and make a mark once again. Please leave your valuable comments in the section below. How do you guys think Lesnar could make his big WWE return?

All said and done, whenever he does return, it is certain that The Beast will come back as a top guy. He's still in great shape and can go like he did when he first made his WWE debut.

#5 Winner of The Royal Rumble

The Beast may be in a bad mood when he comes back

The Royal Rumble often has a surprise or two. This year, nobody expected Rey Mysterio to return to WWE and create the same impact that he did. However, return he did and the world watched in amazement as he mixed it up with the best in the business from a whole generation later.

I can absolutely imagine Brock Lesnar returning as a surprise contestant for the Royal Rumble. And if he does return, I cannot imagine anyone but him picking up a victory at the event, considering how strongly he has been booked thus far. This would automatically take him to the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Could we see him contest for the Universal Championship at the event against Roman Reigns? Knowing how Vince McMahon perceives both performers, I'd say this is a possibility.

#4 Attacking the brand new Paul Heyman guy

Now, this could be a potentially exciting storyline for sure

While Brock Lesnar may have left WWE for the time being, the rumour is that Paul Heyman will stay put, in the company. There has certainly been a lot of buzz about him aligning with Kevin Owens, and making him his new WWE client. If so, I can certainly imagine a very angry beast. One who will return for retribution and revenge when it's his time.

Owens or whoever Heyman's client is could definitely mix it up with Lesnar, when The Beast makes his big WWE return. In fact, this would be a far more interesting storyline than seeing a part-time champion who only contests against one challenger, time and time again. It would also be interesting to see Kevin Owens attempt sneaky tactics to get one up.

There's always the possibility that Owens will not be Paul Heyman's next client in WWE. If so, Lars Sullivan or whoever it is, could have a Beast vs. Beast encounter.

#3 Costing Roman Reigns the Championship

The Beast may just want to lay the hurt on Reigns

The current rumour doing the rounds is that Roman Reigns will be booked in a lengthy championship reign. Maybe nobody in the roster can potentially defeat him. And then in comes Brock Lesnar, who costs him the Universal Championship. Maybe Lesnar's motivation isn't even the title, but just to lay the hurt on Roman Reigns.

We could see a power-packed Lesnar vs. Reigns feud, in due course of time. I certainly would not be opposed to seeing it.

#2 The new face of SmackDown on FOX

Could we see Brock Lesnar lock horns with AJ Styles once again?
Ad

We all know that SmackDown Live is moving to a new network next year. And WWE will want a big name to carry the brand, at least in the beginning. I have a feeling that they may want to call Brock Lesnar in, as the face of the brand.

This would give him a new pool of opponents to work with. SmackDown Live lacks the star power that RAW does, and need a superstar like Lesnar. Even if he doesn't appear in a full-time capacity, his appearances could add value.

Imagine Daniel Bryan mixing it up with Brock Lesnar. Imagine Nakamura and Lesnar having a real MMA style contest, very soon.

#1 Bobby Lashley calls Lesnar out

Bobby Lashley seriously needs a big feud to come back to prominence
Ad

Can we be honest and admit that Bobby Lashley's return to WWE hasn't been the fairytale we all expected it to be? If anything, it's just been disappointing and underwhelming to fans. We expected him to mix it up with Lesnar in a dream match that did not take place. Maybe the process of rebuilding Lashley involves this match.

Close to WrestleMania season, I can imagine Lashley calling Brock Lesnar out. The two men could mix it up at the showcase of the Immortals. And fans will be elated!

Bobby Lashley needs this match for sure. Brock Lesnar doesn't, but it'll still be a big ticket match for him.

How would you book Brock Lesnar's return, reader?
