India will play four Tests with Australia in December on their soil. The Men in Blue should take lessons from the current English tour and come up with a serious strategy for the Australia tour. Ideally, they should play two to three practice matches in Australia to get used to the conditions.

India needs to start from the zero for the upcoming Australian series. India should also make certain changes in their team for Australia. Senior Indian players are not able to perform as per the expectations. Hence, Indian selectors should have a serious discussion about giving the opportunity to the youngsters for the Australia tour.

there is no denying that youngsters have performed brilliantly in the domestic circuit. They should be rewarded for their constant performances. They should be given the chance in the International cricket to showcase their potential. This move would be beneficial for India to develop a solid team for the future.

Here, we have discussed three impact players that should play for India in the Australian test series.

#3 Mohammed Siraj

The son of an autorickshaw driver in Hyderabad, Mohammed Siraj's rise as a fast bowler is a remarkable story in itself. Siraj started playing professional cricket only in 2015. In his second season in 2016-17, he took Hyderabad to the quarter-final in the Ranji Trophy, taking 41 wickets from nine matches.

Siraj is performing exceptionally well in the domestic circuit. He has the ability to swing the ball marvellously and attack the right-handed batsmen. He also bowls pacy bouncers which could be very useful in the Australian conditions. Siraj has a phenomenal record in the first-class cricket, wherein he has taken 86 wickets in 19 matches.

Siraj bowled impressive line and length in the recently completed India A tour of England. He took 15 wickets in two matches which include three four-wicket hauls. India should consider him as an option for the Australian tour. Even Rahul Dravid praised Siraj for his consistency in his recent interview.

#2 Shreyas Iyer

Nobody knows what Shreyas Iyer needs to do get selected in the Test squad. Despite having a great record in the domestic circuit Iyer was never given the opportunity in the test for India. He was constantly ignored by the team management for unknown reasons.

Shreyas Iyer is an attacking batsman who can play both fine and fearless strokes. He averages 53.5 in first-class cricket and has 11 impactful hundreds to his name. In the 2015-16 season, Iyer scored massive 1321 runs at an average of 73.38. His century in the final that season helped Mumbai to win their 41st Ranji title

Iyer deserves a national call for his constant performances in the domestic cricket. Cheteshwar Pujara finds it hard to sustain in foreign pitches. Shreyas Iyer could be a good option as a replacement for Pujara. Thus, Iyer should be rewarded with selection for Australia tour to let him prove himself.

#1 Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw was all over the news in November 2013 when he scored 546 off 330 balls in a Mumbai-based Harris Shield elite division match. Shaw is a fine stroke player who believes in attacking and scoring quick runs. His batting style resembles the great Sachin Tendulkar with his strokes and footwork. Shaw has shown immense potential and consistency at every opportunity he has got.

Shaw has shown unbelievable hunger for runs. He has a wonderful record in the first class cricket where he has scored with an average of 56.72. In his last 10 innings, Shaw has scored 4 centuries. In fact, it appears as if he is scoring runs just for fun now. He has proved that age should not be a hurdle in the selection for the national squad. If Ollie Pope and Sam Curran can play for England in the test at the young age, so why Indian selectors are hesitating in giving the chance to Prithvi Shaw.

India faces a big problem with the opening on the foreign tour. Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, and Murli Vijay struggle a lot on foreign pitches and are finding it hard to give India a solid opening stand. Shaw could be an answer to that problem. He was excellent in recently competed England A tour. Selectors should pick him for the Australian tour and show some trust in him.
