Everyone lost their hope on India after they lost their first two tests in England. Indian players bounced back in the third match. England was outplayed and outclassed in all the departments. India won the test match by 203 runs. Indian team management probably won't make any changes in the team for the fourth test.

It would be perhaps the first time under Kohli's captaincy that the Indian team would go unchanged for the two consecutive tests. India has gained a lot of confidence after their victory in Headingley. Now, they would try to win the next test to level the series to 2-2.

India has a good chance to win the series as England is struggling with its batting. Indian team needs to make a sensible strategy to defeat England in the next test. Players like Virat are the backbone of the current side. They would have to play a central role in leading India to another victory in England. Here are the 5 players who would be very important for India to win the next test match

#5 Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit returned in the last match in the squad after recovering from the thumb injury. His return was sensational for the Indian team. He was unplayable for English Batsman with his weird action and pacey incoming deliveries.

He was fantastic in both the innings of the last test match. He picked up 7 wickets in the last match with a 5 wicket haul in the second inning. Bumrah needs to perform again in the Southampton. India would be the top choice to win the match if he is able to trouble the batsmen again in the next test match. Jasprit Bumrah would be the key for India to level the series in the next test.

#4 Ishant Sharma

India had a big scare before the start of the test series. India's two prime bowlers Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah became injured ahead of the test series and it was a big blow for India. This bad news had no impact on Ishant who bowled superbly in the entire series with tremendous intensity and confidence.

He tested English batsmen with his impeccable line and length. He was phenomenal in all three tests for India where he took 11 wickets in 3 matches. He troubled English Batsmen with swinging deliveries especially Cook who he outsmarted three times. He would be very important for India in the next game.

#3 Cheteshwar Pujara

After his terrible dismissals in the first three innings, Pujara showed some patience in the second inning of the third match. He was unlucky that he was unable to convert the inning into a hundred. Pujara needs to stand on the crease longer if India wants to last longer in the test match.

Pujara has the ability to last throughout the session and score big runs a test match. If Pujara bats out the new ball in the next match, it would become easier for India to score runs in the next sessions when the ball becomes old. Pujara has to play a role of anchor in the next match to guide India to their second victory on the English conditions.

#2 Ajinkya Rahane

India got a huge relief in the third match when Rahane regained his form. Rahane was batting fluently in that match and some of the shots that he played were exceptional. Rahane needs to carry forward his form and confidence in the next match if India wants to make a historic comeback in the series.

Rahane would be crucial for India to set a higher target in the match. Rahane is essential for India in the conditions which mostly favor swing bowlers. Rahane has also chance of scoring a good hundred which he nearly missed in the last test match. Rahane is India's top man in the foreign conditions.

#1 Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli had a forgetful last outing in England in 2014. He was miserable in the seaming conditions. He scored just 134 runs in that series and was batting terribly against Anderson. This year, he has scored runs with an average of about 73 and he did not give away his wicket to Anderson. Kohli has made some adjustments in his batting this time and he looked flawless in the entire series.

Kohli has become the new run machine in England as he has scored 450 runs in 3 matches. India's batting revolves around Virat and it becomes very important that he scores more runs in the next match. The Indian team becomes helpless if he gets out early. So, Kohli has to once again lead from the front for India to create history in England.
