Well then. The Lahore Qalandars seal the top spot on the points table and that's well deserved, it must be said. They've been the best side in the group stages and the points table is a mere reflection of that. Another complete outing for them with Islamabad United not having to worry about too much either, because they have their qualification sealed as well.

Shaheen Afridi (Lahore Qalandars captain): Starting with the batting, Fakhar played a really good innings. Whenever he plays well for us, we win 90 per cent of the time. Credit goes to him for giving us the momentum and then our bowlers did really well. We have played really good cricket. We'll give the ones on the bench a chance in the next game and give the main players some rest.

Fakhar Zaman is the Player of the Match. Here is what he has to say: When I got dropped the first time. We started well but the ball was staying low. So, the chat with Billings was to take it deep. When my catch was dropped, I thought it was my day and went for it. I knew that if we attack Shadab, we can put them under pressure. He is their wicket-taker. Whichever team has their openers performing, the team does well. I'm lucky that my team wins when I do well. The curators deserve some credit for the wickets here.

Shadab Khan (Islamabad United captain): They say catches win matches. I think from that moment (the first dropped catch) Fakhar picked up momentum and outclassed us. I've said it before too that we aren't a bowling unit that concedes 200+ runs consistently. If we show consistency we can also chase 200+ under pressure. You always won't get the desired result but hopefully we'll get it in the coming games.

Zaman Khan (Lahore Qalandars): Thanks to the Almighty. It's been going well. The Lahore Qalandars have supported me a lot. I get to learn a lot from Shaheen bhai and Haris bhai. The captain just told me to win the game for the side and bowl length balls. The ball was skidding a bit and there was some swing too. Our team lives like a family. We play like a family. Every player is given a lot of confidence.

This is the biggest margin of win in PSL history. It is also the only time a batter has outscored the entire opposition, with Fakhar Zaman carrying on his fine form to do what he does best. It was his century in the first innings that set up this game for his side, and there was no looking back from thereon.

The intent from the Islamabad United batters was there to see from the get-go but it wasn't enough for them as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The injury to Azam Khan didn't help their cause, of course, but the rest of the batting unit left much to be desired as well.

Zaman Khan got the ball rolling with his lovely spell in the Powerplay and it was the Rashid Khan show to follow. The leg-spinner bagged four wickets, dismantling the United middle order after Zaman and Wiese took care of the top order. Haris Rauf had his say with a couple of wickets at the backend to make it a complete performance for the side, giving them another thumping win against a familiar opposition.
