Braun Strowman has been The Monster Among Men in the WWE for some time now. He has been hailed as the unstoppable force which has steamrolled everything that has crossed his path. He has become The Guy for the fans since the departure of Roman Reigns.
But in the last couple of months, he has been made into a joke by the company, thereby decreasing his value. All he does now is run around chasing superstars, chasing cars, and chasing titles. He has just failed to receive the final push from the company.
At Crown Jewel, he was squashed by Brock Lesnar after being attacked by Baron Corbin, which protected him from a clear loss, but still affected his overall image. Since then he has been chasing Baron Corbin, but has been unable to exact his revenge.
Before that, he was ready to take on Drew McIntyre, but that storyline was seemingly cut short and washed away by the WWE, as the two men will be on the Raw Survivor Series team together, and there seems to be no tension between them right now.
The WWE now needs to protect the big man and once again build him as a dominant force, as that is what the shows needs at the moment. The WWE Universe does not want another monster to end up like Kane at the end of the day, and underachieve despite having all the potential in the world.
After careful analysis of his current character and status in the WWE, we have formulated 3 steps in which the WWE could focus on making Braun Strowman a dominant force once again, while also pushing other superstars forward to bring them parallel to him.
#3 Baron Corbin vs Braun Strowman - The Spark
Braun Strowman has been thrown into a mix of different feuds, and it’s almost impossible to figure out which man on the red brand he is after the most. One week it’s Drew McIntyre, the next it is Brock Lesnar, and then comes Baron Corbin. Raw needs to clear this mess up for the sake of his character.
The Monster Among Men has already been granted a title match against Brock Lesnar by Stephanie McMahon. He has also been granted a match against Baron Corbin, which will take place sometime before his title match.
Baron Corbin should take the help of Drew McIntyre in his match against Strowman, and the two men together should kayfabe injure him. After all, Corbin is the heel authority figure, and McIntyre has gotten a few pushes from him. This would give the big man some time away to heal his injuries, and also build upon a bigger story for him.
In return for McIntyre’s assistance, Baron Corbin could award him Strowman’s place in the title match against Lesnar, which will most probably come at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2018 (TLC 2018).
#2 Drew McIntyre wins the Universal title - The Fire
At TLC 2018, the match for the Universal Championship should be between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre has been built up enough, and is arguably the better choice to take the title off Lesnar than Strowman who was literally squashed at Crown Jewel.
The Scottish Psychopath’s entry into the match would come as a reward for his assistance to Baron Corbin to destroy Braun Strowman.
After a long and hard-fought match, and with some distraction from Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre should win the Universal Championship and become the villainous face of the red brand.
After the match, McIntyre could also attack Ziggler and part ways with him, as his mission of becoming the best on Raw would have been accomplished, and he wouldn’t need Ziggler anymore.
After the event, McIntyre should keep the Universal Championship and successfully defend it for a few months to ensure he stays dominant and a great Universal Champion for Raw.
#1 Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre at WM 35 - Burning it down
Braun Strowman returns to the WWE at the Royal Rumble. The dominant monster surprises everyone, and returns stronger and better than before.
Braun Strowman should be drafted into the Royal Rumble and go on to win the match which would give him an opportunity once again to go for the Universal Championship. What makes it better is that he would get the opportunity at WrestleMania 35.
The two biggest forces in the WWE today, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman, should collide for the first time in singles competition at WrestleMania 35 for the Universal Championship.
Both men are main event material, and with the absence of Roman Reigns and hopefully Brock Lesnar, the two are the best competitors who could steal the show.
Strowman should go on to win the championship at WrestleMania 35 against the man who attacked him weeks ago. This would enable him exact his revenge, and win the title for the first time at The Grandest Stage Of Them All, once again making him the most dominant force on the red brand.
