Several matches have been confirmed for this Pay-per-view and every major title will be defended on this show. From WWE champion AJ styles to Universal champion Brock Lesnar, everyone is going to give their best on this event. After all, fans are expecting some great matches and moments from this show. The biggest party of Summer is going to take place on August 19 on Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York City.

SummerSlam has it's own reputation in the WWE Universe and they consider it to be awesome. Over the years, we have seen several epic matches and historic moments in this event. Fans will expect the same from WWE this time as well.
It can be anything from a surprise return to a shocking decision made by the WWE. Today, in this article, we are going to present you 3 things we want to see happen at SummerSlam.
#3 Ronda Rousey win the gold
Currently, she is suspended from the brand but her match with Bliss at SummerSlam is confirmed.
Looking at her booking in the WWE, it seems like the baddest woman on the planet is going to dethrone Alexa Bliss at the biggest part of summer. Alexa is a five times overall women's champion. She won the Raw women's champion three times and the SmackDown women's championship two times. Whereas Rousey made her debut on this year's Rumble and her first match was against 'the Authority' (Stephanie McMahon and Triple H) at WrestleMania 34 where she was teamed up with Raw general manager Kurt Angle.
Ronda didn't win anything on the main roster since her debut. She got a chance to win the championship against Nia Jax at Money in the Bank but during the match, Alexa attacked both women. She then cashed in her MITB briefcase which she had won earlier in the night and walked out of the arena as the new RAW women's Champion.
Rousey is over with the fans so it will make sense only if the WWE gives her what she deserves - the RAW women's championship.
Alexa Bliss is really good while speaking on the microphone and Rousey is exceptionally good in the ring. Both can do a great job for the build-up of this match. It can't be denied that a lot of fans are waiting to see her holding the RAW women's championship.
#2 New Universal Champion
In this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, we saw a match between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley and the winner of this match will face Lesnar at SummerSlam. Guess what? Roman won the match after giving a spear to Lashley.
Well, I think everybody will agree on this point, Brock won the Universal Championship from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. From that time, he is holding that belt without defending it on a regular basis.
He didn't defend his title at Backlash, Extreme Rules and now it's time for SummerSlam. And the good news is that he will finally defend his title this time. This is the right time for him to drop the title and practice for his next UFC fight.
Even though fans don't want to see Reigns vs Lesnar for one more time but, if the Big Dog is going to win the title then fans will definitely support him. After all, he is a full-time wrestler who will defend the title on a weekly basis, unlike Lesnar who defends it on major pay-per-views only.
But everything depends on the WWE as they can change their plans anytime. As we saw at WrestleMania where Lesnar shocked the world by defeating Roman Reigns.
#1 Monstrous Cash-In
It is confirmed that the 'Beast Incarnate' will defend his Universal title against Roman but what if the WWE again shocked the world by having Lesnar retain his title?
Well wait, don't forget about Braun Strowman. After all, he is Mr Monster in the bank.
Even if Lesnar defeats Reigns at SummerSlam and retains his title, Braun can cash-in his MITB contract. Most fans don't like Roman Reigns and they always hate whenever he gets the title opportunity. So this will make sense even if Lesnar defeats Roman because fans know Strowman has the briefcase. He is strong enough to defeat "the Beast Incarnate" who just defended his title successfully. It will be great for Strowman to win the Universal Champion.
One ought to note that in this week's Raw, Stephanie gave Kevin Owens a match with Strowman at SummerSlam. If KO wins this match in any way then Strowman will lose his Money in the Bank contract. Let's assume that Strowman won that match and retained his briefcase.
Right now, he is everyone's favourite wrestler who dominates everybody. So maybe SummerSlam will become the night where Strowman will become the new Universal Champion.
