As members of the WWE Universe, there's nothing better than a shocking twist, that makes sense. Here are 3 twists that could shock the WWE Universe to the core.

#3 The New Day split

The group
The group has been successful together, but for how much longer?

As a group, the New Day have proven themselves to be an entertaining tour-de-force, capturing 5 Tag Team Championships.

But whilst the group how vowed never to split, a turn by one of the three would certainly shock the WWE Universe.

It's unclear which one would benefit the most from leaving, though a rumoured big push for Big E could mean that the former Intercontinental Champion could want to move into the WWE Championship picture.

The team will face either Rusev and Aiden English or the Bar, following a tournament formed by SmackDown Live General Manager Paige.

#2 Flair and Lynch enter Hell

Flair is
Flair is one of two women to have competed inside the demonic structure.

The feud between former friends Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch has escalated on a weekly basis, with both Superstars having genuine reasons for why they feel they should be the real SmackDown Live women's champion.

Lynch has said her effort and overlooking has made her the real women's champion, and deserved a singles match at SummerSlam.

Flair has countered saying that she made the best of an opportunity, and is the right woman to represent the division.

Whilst the two are already scheduled to compete, adding the cell structure would add a new level to the feud, and perhaps prove once and for all, who deserves to be the champion.

#1 Roman Reigns loses the Universal Championship (thanks to the Shield)

Rom
Roman won inside the structure in 2016, but will this happen again?

At SummerSlam 2018, Roman Reigns finally completed his odyssey, defeating Brock Lesnar to capture the Universal championship, over 3 years after the first battle.

The next night, Reigns reunited with his Shield-brothers Ambrose and Rollins, with the trio attacked number-one contender Braun Strowman.

Whilst Reigns is expected to retain against Strowman inside the cell, (especially since he just won the Red strap), a loss could prove to be a more shocking approach.

Having Reigns lose the title so quickly would show that the Samoan Superman can be beaten, especially if he is turned on by Ambrose and Rollins.

With Seth rumoured to be out with a very real injury, Ambrose turning on Roman could be just what the group need right now.
