3 WWE Superstars who should turn heel in 2019

Why no heel turn?

The current state of WWE is not too good. Ratings are at an all-time low and WWE is struggling to do some things the fans would like to see. Only the inclusion of the legends on all major shows excites the WWE Universe. But we know that this will not always work, and the legends cannot always save the day.

Going into 2019, WWE will have to make serious changes to the characters of their top superstars, because the fans are bored of seeing repetition. Many superstars on the roster aren't even being utilised to their best potential. In this article, we will take a look at three WWE Superstars who should turn heel for good in 2019.

#3 Finn Balor

It is hard to believe that the superstar who was thought of as a Universal Champion when he first came to the main roster is now just a mid-carder. Finn Balor's 2018 has been far from good. He was booked in a useless feud with Baron Corbin for two straight months, and then put in a mixed tag with Bayley that no one really cared about.

This year has been one to forget for Balor, and he will hope WWE does something better with him in 2019, and one of those things is turning him heel.

Monday Night Raw is stuffed with babyfaces, and there are no good mid-card heels for Balor to feud with. Even if there were, that feud would mean nothing because there are no singles titles he could fight for.

If Balor turns heel, he could reunite Balor Club, or just go ahead with his Demon King gimmick. Finn really deserves to get a good run because the fans want something different and better done with him.

#2 AJ Styles

AJ Styles is on a hot streak right now, winning at every pay-per-view, and putting on some excellent matches in the process. He has been the WWE Champion for nearly a year now, and there has not been anyone who has been able to dethrone The Phenomenal One. His next challenger will be Daniel Bryan at WWE Crown Jewel.

There is no doubt that AJ Styles' 2018 has been absolutely amazing. He was also the cover star of WWE 2K19. But with the new year, new things must also happen for him. Turning him heel would be a crazy idea because he has been such a good face till date. But we do know from AJ's days in TNA that he can be an excellent heel as well.

If we see a draft in 2019, AJ could certainly move to RAW and become a heel, but he as the heel WWE Champion on SmackDown isn't a bad idea either.

#1 Roman Reigns

Do it for the fans, not Roman
Do it for the fans, not Roman

Roman Reigns has not exactly been the WWE's most liked superstar for the last four years. He had been chasing the biggest title on RAW, and this year he finally captured it. The Shield also reunited again, and that went in Roman's favor as well, because the fans like him more as a part of The Shield than just a singles superstar.

Although a Dean Ambrose heel turn might be on the brink, Roman turning heel is still a better idea than that. It doesn't even matter if both turn heel, or if Ambrose turns heel right now and Roman turns later in 2019.

Roman could be a really good heel champion because Monday Night Raw has a lot of good faces who could try to get the title from him.

It's still every fan's dream to see Roman as the biggest heel on RAW. Lets hope that for once Vince does it for the fans.
