Most pro-wrestling and WWE fans know that the results of a WWE match are pre-determined and that the victory or defeat of a Superstar is to tell a story that will garner audiences and keep them engaged in the story.

Some Superstars may be 'pushed' as they are 'over' with the fans and they will win a majority of their matches in their career to keep their momentum and likeability factor going in their favour.

A wrestler who wins a lot of their matches will eventually hold the title who could then later be used to put an upcoming Superstar 'over'.

Curt Hawkins has taken the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately after crossing 200 consecutive defeats.

But there are other Superstars who win most of their matches. Here are five of the current WWE Superstars with the highest win percentages.

One of the best Superstars to come out of NXT, Bayley has been a popular wrestler with the WWE Universe ever since she made her main roster debut in 2016. The one-time RAW Women's Champion is no longer at the top of the women's division on RAW, but is still a much-loved babyface Superstar.

In her 204 matches on the main roster, Bayley has won 155 matches, which is a win record of 75.9%, the highest on the RAW Women's roster.

She has lost just 46 matches (22.5%) on the main roster, and is primed for a return back to the top of the RAW roster.

#4 John Cena - 77%

John Cena was "The Guy" of the WWE for almost a decade before he made a decision to concentrate on a career in Hollywood.

Cena made his television debut way back in 2002, facing off against Kurt Angle, narrowly losing after putting up a good fight. Since then, he has gone on to greater heights and has been the poster boy of the company, winning the WWE championship 16 times!

Cena's win percentage of 77% is barely a surprise, considering how important he is for the company and how he has millions of fans, and has, for the majority of his WWE career been a face.

In his 1326 matches in the WWE, Cena has won 1022 matches and just 246 losses.

Apart from his WWE championship, Cena has also won the tag team belts four times, the United States Championship five times, and the Royal Rumble twice.

#3 Finn Balor - 77.1%

Since moving to the WWE from NJPW in 2014, Finn Balor has won many fans with his incredible athletic ability and his in-ring persona.

Balor, made his main roster debut in 2016, before winning the Universal Championship, but had to give it up due to injury, which has been his only title on the main roster.

Balor has a 77.1% win record, which is again not a surprise considering he's been a face on the main roster. In the 166 matches on the WWE main roster, Balor has won 128 matches and lost just 37 matches.

The Balor Club would love to see him back in the hunt of the Universal title picture, and if that happens, he is bound to win a few more matches and his win percentage is going to increase.

Shinsuke Nakamura came to the WWE with a lot of hype and fanfare and he showed the WWE audience what he's about in NXT, having great feuds and eventually winning the NXT Championship.

His main roster debut has been a little underwhelming considering his high standards. After an interesting with old NJPW rival AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Nakamura recently became US Champion.

The Japanese Superstar has wrestled in 117 matches on the main roster, losing just 21 matches and winning 92 of them, 78% win record!
