Gone are the days when WWE NXT used to be just a developmental and grooming brand for upcoming wrestlers on their journey to the main roster. Today, under the expertise of Triple H, the yellow brand is touching new heights with each Takeover outshining the previous one.
A plethora of talented NXT wrestlers are not getting the opportunity to break into RAW or SmackDown Live, thanks to a continuous influx of young talent, and mismanagement of performers on both the brands.
What if the gears shift in such a way that NXT tries to invade the main roster? A couple of dream matches can be set between the superstars of NXT and RAW/SmackDown. Both Strowman and Keith are gigantic wrestlers who can move around with utmost agility and swiftness. A match of this magnitude will have fans sitting on the edge of their seats to see what damage the two superstars can cause against one another.

When it comes to heel wrestlers, there have been only a few who have come close to Randy Orton. Be it as a part of The Authority, or as The Legend Killer, Orton has always outshone his peers while portraying a cocky villain.
One superstar who is having a phenomenal time as a cruel, obnoxious heel is Tommaso Ciampa. With every appearance, every hateful tweet, and every opportunity to screw Johnny Gargano over, Ciampa has managed to generate genuine heat from the fans.

But it's not the first time a ruthless and over the top gimmick is becoming popular in the WWE Universe. Goldust, a two decade veteran of the business, remains one of the most underrated workhorses even today. Nearing the end of his career, Goldust can still give wrestlers half his age a run for their money.
If WWE decides to pull the trigger by calling up Velveteen Dream to the main roster, a feud with Goldust should be the most suitable step going forward. A match for the ages will surely see two flamboyant yet obnoxious personalities give their all inside the squared circle.

It's safe to say that Johnny Gargano is the undeniable face of NXT. Since #DIY disbanded, Gargano has managed to portray the perfect innocent babyface in a heated rivalry against his former partner, Tommaso Ciampa.
His current run is strikingly similar to Daniel Bryan's earlier run in WWE where he would try to defy all odds to come out victorious against the most vicious of opponents.
Both Bryan and Gargano are extremely skilled wrestlers, and enjoy huge fan support. A match between the two top fan favourite superstars would be a treat to watch, it would have unmatched technical ability mixed with great storytelling.

Now that The Shield is back together in what is seeming to be a heel faction once again, the storyline for them can be explored in various ways. As unlikely as it sounds, the perfect opponents for The Hounds of Justice are Adam Cole and the current NXT Tag-team Champions - The Undisputed Era.
Cole alongside Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong have been killing it on the developmental brand, and the time has come to call-up these NXT Superstars to the main roster.
A highly anticipated match that will unquestionably blow off the roof, it might see a complete back and forth action which would be the perfect welcome for the Undisputed Era on the main event scene.
