5 Huge Possible WWE Dream Matches That Could Happen At WrestleMania 35

Unfortunately over the years, due to several unique circumstances, we've missed out on seeing dream matches between arguably the two biggest stars in WWE history in Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin, we never got to see The Undertaker go one-on-one with Sting, and we never did end up seeing a match between Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan.

However, thanks to the fact that some of the biggest names from the past are willing to come back every now and then, there's still a chance that we can see several dream matches including legends such as The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and The Rock.

Simply put, while we've lost out on a tremendous amount of potential dream matches due to injuries, retirements, and bad timing, there are still a ton of possible good ones out there that could end up happening a lot sooner than you think, possibly even as early as WrestleMania 35 next spring.

So, what are some of those possible dream matches? Well, let's find out!

#5 Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg

Goldberg vs Roman Reigns

While Roman Reigns and Goldberg did get to go face to face during the latter's comeback run in 2016-17, they didn't get the opportunity to have a match with one another prior to the now former WWE Universal Champion's departure following his loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.

This past spring, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, however, that doesn't mean that he's completely retired, as he has seemed open to wrestling again if the right opportunity presents itself, and a match with Roman Reigns would be a pretty good opportunity for the ex-WCW megastar.

A feud between the two would definitely be intriguing, as both men are extremely similar, yet have a few distinct differences. Of course, if Goldberg were to face Reigns, it probably wouldn't be anything more than a five-minute match with a ton of big moves, which might sound disappointing for a dream match, but if it's done right, it could be pretty great.

#4 Daniel Bryan vs. Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan

Prior to Kurt Angle's WWE return, he made it perfectly clear that he wanted to have a match with Daniel Bryan. But, the only problem was, our Olympic Hero was working for TNA/Impact Wrestling, while Bryan was in WWE, and when Angle finally did return, Bryan had retired.

But, Daniel Bryan is back now, and while his comeback has been underwhelming so far, a match with Kurt Angle would probably get the people excited about what he's doing again, especially if it were booked as a submission match.

Unless Daniel Bryan skyrockets into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture between now and WrestleMania 35, I can definitely see WWE booking a match between the former SmackDown General Manager and the current Raw GM at next year's show.

#3 The Rock vs. Randy Orton

The Rock vs Randy Orton

In 2004, The Rock and Mick Foley reunited the Rock n' Sock Connection, as they faced off against the team of Ric Flair, Batista, and Randy Orton back at WrestleMania 20 in Madison Square Garden.

But, while The Rock and Orton have worked with each other in the past, they still haven't done a one-on-one match, so this does seem like a no-brainer to me.

We all know that Randy Orton is more motivated when he's a heel, but the only problem is, as recent events have shown, when he's a heel, the people actually cheer him because he's so great at his role. However, they wouldn't cheer him as a heel against The Rock, which might bring out the absolute best in Orton.

In the past, Randy Orton has been described as being the best worker in WWE when he's motivated, and it'd be hard to believe that he wouldn't be motivated going into a WrestleMania match against The Rock.

#2 Ronda Rousey vs. Trish Stratus

Ronda Rousey vs Trish Stratus

It was reported earlier in the week that Trish Stratus will return at the Evolution pay-per-view in October to go one-on-one with ex-WWE Raw and SmackDown Live Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, and since her retirement, she's proven that she's willing to come back for the right match.

Many do consider Trish Stratus to be the best female wrestler in WWE history, and it's quite possible that Ronda Rousey will be stealing that moniker from her by the time she's ready to retire from pro wrestling, so a match between the two should happen at some point.

Also, aside from a select few on WWE's main roster, Trish would probably be the best opponent for Rousey in terms of putting on a quality match.

As of this writing, it does seem like the plan is to do Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 next year, but as we all know, plans often change in WWE, and if Trish is interested in being on the card for Mania, then she should challenge the ex-UFC star in one of the show's featured matches.

#1 AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker

AJ Styles vs Undertaker

Prior to last year's Royal Rumble show in San Antonio, Texas, the biggest rumor going around was that The Undertaker was going to return and face off against AJ Styles. But, that didn't end up happening, as WWE decided to have The Deadman enter the 30-man Royal Rumble match instead.

For better or for worse, The Undertaker is still a part-time wrestler, even though his physical abilities have diminished significantly, which is to be expected from a big man who has spent nearly three decades in the pro wrestling business.

So, if he's significantly limited, the best person to put him in the ring with at next year's WrestleMania is someone who is just the opposite, and there probably isn't anyone in WWE who fits that bill better than AJ Styles.

Aside from a match with Sting, who is retired and probably never coming back, this is the biggest possible match WWE can do with The Undertaker at this point, so I'd be surprised if they didn't end up doing it when they head to MetLife Stadium next spring.
