Hell in a Cell returns!

The Hell in a Cell 2018 is scheduled to return on September 16, 2018, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Once again both the brands Raw and SmackDown will be part of the show. After Summerslam, the storylines have really picked up well and most of the feuds will continue at the event going forward.

Already, five matches have been announced for the event, Braun Strowman will finally cash his Money in the Bank Contract against Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan will team up with Brie Bella competing against The "It Couple" Miz and Maryse and Jeff hardy will collide with Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell after weeks of brawl between the two stars.

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

There will also be feuds that will continue through SummerSlam, as AJ Styles will clash with Samoa Joe once again for the WWE Championship and Alexa Bliss will get her rematch against Ronda Rousey for Raw Women's Championship.

Now, there are still two weeks left for the event and more matches will be taking shape once the event gets closer. So, it would be intriguing to know what happens at Hell in a Cell and especially what happens inside Hell in a Cell, as we have seen in the past, they don't always end well!

So here are five matches WWE should add on Hell in a Cell card.

#5 The B-Team (c) vs. The Authors of Pain (Raw Tag Team Titles Match)

The
The Authors of Pain should be the new champions

From the past few months, the tag team division of Raw has been hitting many lows. Ever since Braun Strowman and Nicholas won Raw tag team titles at WrestleMania, the division has became a complete joke. Later on Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy won the titles while their win was more about their characters rather than their matches. But the most shocking thing to ever happen to this division was when Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel won the titles.

Now, I don't hate The B-Team but we have better teams such as The Revival and The Authors of Pain who were former NXT tag team champions, but yet have been doing nothing on the main roster. The Revival will face The B-Team for the titles next week on Raw, so it is possible that they win the titles.

But right now, The Authors of Pain deserve the titles more than any team on the roster because they have been involved in worthless series of matches against Titus Worldwide every week on Raw and slowly fans are losing interest in the team.

So,The Authors of Pain can set-up a feud with The B-Team next week on Raw, challenging them to a match at Hell in a Cell for Raw tag team titles and then defeating them decisively, winning the titles in the process. This way they will be able to re-establish their characters once again just like in NXT. Later on, teams like The Revival, The Shield, or even a new team from NXT could feud with The Authors of Pain in WWE pay-per-views going forward.

#4 The New Day (c) vs. The Bar (SmackDown Tag Team Titles Match)

The Bar
The Bar and The New Day in a backstage segment

The New Day became five-time SmackDown tag team champions by defeating The Bludgeon Brothers last week on SmackDown in a hellish no disqualification match which was one of the best main events SmackDown has seen this year.

This was a rematch from Summerslam where the match ended with a disqualification when Harper and Rowan used their mallets to assault all the three members of The New Day. Now, Rowan is currently injured so that leaves him and Harper out of the title picture for the time being.

Also, the General manager of SmackDown Paige announced that this week there will be a tag team tournament held to decide New #1 Contenders for the titles at Hell in a Cell. Now, The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus) has to win this tournament because they haven't done anything on SmackDown lately.

Since Superstar Shake-Up, The Bar has either been involved in lame backstage segments or have competed in the dark matches and have lost too many matches on SmackDown.

This is happening to a team which was one of the best teams on Raw last year. The Bar were three-time Raw Tag Team Champions and had show-stealing matches with the likes of The Hardy Boyz, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins etc. But their run on SmackDown has been completely opposite.

Now, there are more talented teams on the roster such as The Usos, Sanity, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson etc. But, this time Cesaro and Sheamus deserve the chance to face the champions The New Day and, possibly beat them to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

#3 Bobby Lashley vs. Elias

<p>
Bobby Lashley and Elias face off

Before the Summerslam pay-per-view, WWE was slowly building to a feud between Bobby Lashley and Elias, but the match didn't take place at the event. Even before on Raw after WrestleMania 34 where Lashley returned after 10 years and attacked Elias everyone thought they were going to have a match, but the very next week WWE discontinued this feud.

Both Lashley and Elias have been doing next to nothing on Raw. Elias debuted last year after Superstar Shake-Up and his biggest accomplishment is facing Seth Rollins for Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank 2018 in a losing effort. Mean while, Lashley came close to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar but lost to Roman Reigns in finals of becoming new #1 contender for Universal Title at Summerslam 2018.

Now, Lashley and Elias have been without any direction in the past few week, as Elias has been involved in various waste of time segments on Raw as well as pay-per-views time and again and Lashley has been winning worthless tag team matches.

So, they should have a match at Hell in a Cell and if given proper time to both the superstars they can produce a great feud together because both are talented enough to be in the main event picture in future.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Rusev vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas (Triple Threat Match for United States Championship)

Shin
Shinsuke Nakamura, the new US Champion

Last week at SummerSlam pay-per-view, Shinsuke Nakamura retained his United States Championship against Jeff Hardy in a rematch from Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Since Hardy is now involved in a feud with Randy Orton, Nakamura is without an opponent moving into Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

Now, there can be two possible opponents Andrade "Cien" Almas and Rusev, as both have been consistently underutilized, especially Almas who was NXT Champion and produced fantastic matches in the brand. Also, Rusev who has been one of the most beloved stars in WWE since performing The Rusev Day gimmick has competed against AJ Styles for WWE Championship at Extreme Rules and has also been involved in some of the SmackDown tag team titles matches with Aiden English.

Both have lack of direction going forward, so it would be a smart move from WWE if they make a triple threat match for United States Championship at Hell in a Cell. The match will surely be brilliant because all these three superstars are able to connect with the crowd really well and have an excellent in-ring ability.

Aside from this, there is no other option left, unless WWE call-up any superstar from NXT.

#1 Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (Tag Team Match)

Ab
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins reunite!

After SummerSlam, the most dominant and destructive group in WWE's history returned on Raw. As The Shield reunited once again and brutally attacked Braun Strowman when he was about to cash in his Money in the Bank Contract on Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.

Last Monday on Raw, Strowman challenged Reigns inside Hell in a Cell for the Universal Title by cashing in his contract, so that no member of The Shield could interfere in the match. Later on in the main event of Raw, Strowman teamed with Reigns against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre but suddenly during the match, Strowman turned on Reigns and attacked him with Ziggler and McIntyre which lead to Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins running out to help him only to be dominated by the monster.

By the end of the night, all the three members of The Shield were decimated and it seemed that Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre might have formed a new alliance.

Now, Strowman will compete against Reigns inside Hell in a Cell, so that leaves Ziggler and McIntyre to face Ambrose and Rollins in a tag team match at the same event. While Ziggler still needs his one-on-one rematch against Rollins for the Intercontinental Title, that can happen next week on Raw instead of the pay-per-view. Also, a tag team match would work better since all the four superstars highly talented in-ring performers and can produce the match of the night.

Already, The Shield will compete against Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre at WWE Super Show-Down held in MCG, Australia which is expected to be filled by 80,000 fans. So to see a glimpse of this rivalry at Hell in a Cell would be a great chance for the fans around the world.
