WrestleMania comes to New Orleans this year

The Road to WrestleMania 34 kicks off with the Royal Rumble, which is scheduled to take place 3 weeks from now.

The winner of the Royal Rumble match will then go on to headline the Grandest Stage of them all. As per the rumours surrounding the show and the matches involved, it seems likely that a lot of dream feuds could take place at the Super Dome this year.

Let's look at the 5 major bouts that could potentially tear the house down at the Show of Shows this year.

#5 A.J. Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship

A.J. Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura could steal the show at WrestleMania 34

When you have two of the greatest wrestlers on the planet fighting for the most coveted prize at WrestleMania, magic is bound to happen.

A.J. Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura is a dream match for fans and critics all over the world.

Despite Nakamura's main roster debut being unexciting, he still continues to be popular with the WWE Universe.

A.J. Styles, the WWE Champion is currently scheduled to face Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble in a 2 on 1 handicap match.

On the other hand, the King of Strong Style is set to enter the 30-man royal rumble match.

This means that there is a possibility that these two will be each other's dancing partners at the Super Dome this year.

WWE has continued to tease us with little confrontations of the two talented superstars and it seems inevitable that these two are set to lock horns at the Grandest Stage of them all.

Give these men 20-30 minutes and, WWE has a "Match of the Year" on its hands.

#4 Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens

Destined to fight forever!

Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens is a match that has so much history behind it. The duo has travelled the world together and created magic wherever they went.

The fans and the critics have always enjoyed seeing the two talented men compete against each other.

A new chapter to this story came when Sami turned 'heel' and, helped his former best friend get the win over Shane McMahon at Hell in a Cell.

Both of them have been working together since then, and, are constantly seen questioning Shane's authoritative leadership on the blue brand.

They are now set to challenge the Phenomenal One in a 2 on 1 Handicap match for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.

However, the rumour mill is swirling with reports suggesting that the stipulation has been included in the match to create tension between the two superstars with Kevin Owens turning on Zayn, setting up an iconic showdown at WrestleMania 34 this year.

Well, Sami and Kevin have always been fantastic in telling a beautiful story in and outside the ring and, if provided with a bigger platform, they could seriously pull off a classic that the fans would remember for years to come.

#3 John Cena vs The Undertaker

<p>
Will the Deadman & the Face that runs the place collide this year at the Super Dome?

Both John Cena and the Undertaker have entertained the WWE Universe for decades, accomplishing almost everything there was to achieve in the wrestling business.

But, the only blot in both their careers is that they have never crossed paths for a major dream match at WrestleMania. This match was originally rumoured to take place at WrestleMania 32 but, eventually got scrapped due to John's injury. The Deadman went on to face Shane O'Mac at the Show of Shows that year and, lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 which was considered his 'final' match.

However, rumours are running wild that WWE wants Undertaker to be back for a final match at the Super Dome and, what better way to send him off by having him face 'Big Match' John. Both veterans have now become 'part-timers' which makes sense that the two of them will finally collide at the biggest show of the year.

Don't expect the match to be a fast technical contest as, the bout has two of the biggest superstars of this generation who have entertained us for decades and, that is enough sometimes, to create a WrestleMania moment.

#2 Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

Giving Intercontinental Championship the respect it deserves

Well, it seems that this WrestleMania could see the Intercontinental championship on the line in a major marquee match. The Miz is set to take on the Big Dog for the Intercontinental Championship at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw.

Since The Guy is scheduled to take on the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania, it seems that the Miz will beat Roman and win back the title he made 'prestigious' and would likely enter the Super Dome as the champion.

As far as the challengers are concerned, Seth Rollins who was scheduled to face his shield counterpart, Dean is left without a dancing partner after the Lunatic fringe suffered a bicep injury. Well, the Architect would be in a prominent role this year at New Orleans which makes it a possibility that he could be one of the many challengers for the Intercontinental title.

Samoa Joe is also a name that would most likely be featured in this match because of his recent feud with the Big Dog for the title. It makes complete sense for him to be involved in this match and win the title. Last but not the least, the Demon despite joining hands with his former Bullet club members, still remains directionless.

The First ever Universal Champion never got a rematch for the title he never lost and, with the Beast Incarnate locking horns with Roman Reigns at the event, it seems likeable that the Demon will look to grab the Intercontinental Championship. This match has all the ingredients to be a classic and, most importantly, would give the Intercontinental Championship the respect it deserves.

#1 Braun Strowman vs Triple H

Can the Monster among men play the game?

Braun Strowman has been an unstoppable force on Monday Night Raw in 2017. The Monster dominated and destroyed his every opponent.

WWE threw some shots at an inevitable showdown between the Cerebral Assassin and the Monster Among Men at this year's Survivor Series, with Braun Strowman having an upper hand over the King of Kings. With Vince and the WWE Universe totally behind the monster, it seems likeable that he might clash with the Game at the Super Dome.

Strowman has been on fire since the beginning of 2017 and, a collision with Triple H only proves that he is a respected performer, in the locker room. The crowd would be totally behind the Monster Among Men in this match.

Expect some crazy death-defying spots in this match with a victory for Braun in the end. This match would likely cement Strowman as the most dominant performer in the WWE today.
