5 Superstars Brock Lesnar Has Not Faced Yet

Brock Lesnar still has at least 5 big money matches left
Brock Lesnar still has at least 5 big money matches left

Ever since Brock Lesnar was crowned WWE Universal Champion, fans have been up in arms about the superstar. Needless to say, they would have preferred a full-time champion in the man's place. Maybe someone younger or fresher. I think there's a very obvious way to freshen up Brock Lesnar's programs, really.

The fact of the matter is that Lesnar has only been booked against a handful of opponents. If he is booked in programs against fresher, newer competitors, maybe the WWE Universe will also be a lot more invested in the Beast Incarnate. And there's a whole bunch of superstars that he has not faced thus far.

In this list, I shall list them for your convenience. Please let me know if you would like Lesnar to square off against one or more of these men.

Each of them could potentially be show stealer.

#5 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan could put on a technical masterpiece against Brock Lesnar

Daniel Bryan has said, time and again, that his dream opponent is Brock Lesnar. Of course, one look at the two men and the size discrepancy is obvious. But then again, bear in mind that Lesnar has had some of the best matches of his career against smaller men like AJ Styles and CM Punk.

Why a match between these two men makes complete sense is because Bryan is the ultimate underdog. If WWE wanted to tell the ultimate David vs. Goliath story, who better than Daniel Bryan to go up against The Beast Incarnate? Of course, the two men are on different brands, so the contest would not take place this year.

But then again, if Bryan were to defeat Styles before Survivor Series, there's always the possibility of this epic clash. It may even be more exciting than Styles vs. Lesnar, in a lot of ways.

#4 Drew McIntyre

This match needs to happen sooner rather than later
This match needs to happen sooner rather than later

Drew McIntyre looks like the prototype of the perfect WWE superstar. He looks the part, is a great promo and also looks believable enough to defeat Brock Lesnar. In fact, if Lesnar had to drop the title to anyone in the current RAW roster, it would very well be Drew McIntyre.

The two men size up very well, and McIntyre is one of those big men who can work brilliantly when the bell rings. Depending on how long Lesnar decides to stick around in WWE, I would assume that a future clash with Drew McIntyre is not just probable but inevitable. The two men could tear it up if given the opportunity to shine.

One wonders if the crowd would make McIntyre a face if he were to go up against Lesnar. They do not seem to like Lesnar too much.

#3 Finn Balor

Balor vs. Lesnar would be a very interesting match
Balor vs. Lesnar would be a very interesting match

Remember when this match was being discussed by one and all in the WWE Universe? Ultimately it was deemed that Balor wasn't over enough to face off against The Beast.

I suppose the size difference was considered way too much of a factor, and the eventual contest would not have been believable. Yet, there is an exception to this premise.

The Demon avatar has been protected, and how. It has not been pinned on the main roster yet. Balor scored victories over top tier superstars like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Baron Corbin, as the Demon. It would be a formidable opponent for Brock Lesnar.

Whether or not Balor can actually go over Lesnar is not really the question. It would make for an intriguing contest and as they say, 'every ticket is sold before the bell rings'.

#2 Lars Sullivan

This man could very well become Brock Lesnar's successor
This man could very well become Brock Lesnar's successor

There is something about Lars Sullivan that is supremely captivating. He's not the biggest man in the world, neither is he the best worker in the world. And yet, something about his presence just screams of big money matches.

It is all too easy to imagine him take on Brock Lesnar down the line, because of the obvious physical similarities between the two big men. It would be a clash between Godzilla and King Kong, and would likely have a lot of people invested in the outcome almost at once. I would assume this would be the natural course of things once Lars Sullivan gets called up to the main roster.

Does Sullivan have it in him to become a superstar of the calibre of Brock Lesnar, down the line someday? I honestly think that if he does stay the course, it is all too possible!

Special mention: Batista

You know what, guys? This is a match that could happen at WrestleMania this year, because of the injury sustained by Triple H during his match at Crown Jewel, just a few days ago. Imagine what a big money fight Batista vs. Brock Lesnar can be.

But why is this a special mention and not the top pick in our list, you ask? This is because the two men have faced off before, in OVW and in a Live Event match. Batista did not seem too keen on facing Lesnar again, because he got squashed in the latter (revealed on the Talk is Jericho podcast).

Both men have earned a lot of acclaim outside WWE, and a clash of this calibre would have people from the mainstream world invested too. Let's hope that the match happens, sooner rather than later.

#1 Bobby Lashley

Lashley vs. Lesnar is a match that fans have longed to see for years
Lashley vs. Lesnar is a match that fans have longed to see for years

Fans have been discussing a Lashley vs. Lesnar match for some time now. This is because both men have a background in Mixed Martial Arts, and would match up brilliantly against one another. Both men are also powerhouses. Some fans have even wanted to see this match take place inside the octagon someday.

Lashley has not had the best run ever since he came to WWE. He is in the process of being rebuilt into a star with Lio Rush by his side, as his hype man. It remains to be seen how far up the ladder he can climb with Lio Rush's assistance.

I remain confident that Lashley vs. Lesnar will happen someday, much to the delight of fans. And on that positive note, I bring this article to a close.
