At Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar made his dramatic return during the night's main event, laying out both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman and setting his sights on the Universal title.

Lesnar will get his rematch for the belt at Crown Jewel, the WWE's upcoming network special in Saudi Arabia.

Unfortunately for Lesnar, the numbers game is likely going to prove too much for him to overcome, with Reigns having The Shield to fall back on, and Strowman having The Show in his corner for back-up.

If Lesnar is going to be able to take down Strowman and Reigns, he is going to need some back-up, and with Survivor Series just a few months away, he and Heyman should probably begin looking at potential partners for the event.

Let's take a look at five wrestlers who could benefit from joining a stable with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar.

#5 Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has had a rough ride so far in 2018

Kevin Owens is one of the most talented performers on the WWE roster, it would appear, though, that nobody bothered to notify the WWE of that.

Owens has spent the best part of 2018 being booked to look like a joke, and his demolition at the hands of Braun Strowman at SummerSlam 2018 was just the icing on the cake.

Owens is one of the finest mic-workers in the company, and having him partner up with Paul Heyman would guarantee gold.

He used to also be one of the most dominant and terrifying stars on the roster, and having him partner up with Lesnar may help the WWE rediscover that part of his character.

He also has plenty of reasons to want revenge against the likes of Braun Strowman and Reigns, having spent the majority of 2018 putting the two men over.

#4 EC3

EC3 should be on the main roster right now

EC3 is one of the most naturally charismatic performers in the WWE, and there is an argument to be made that he should have never been sent down to NXT in the first place.

The former Impact World Champion oozes charisma and is exceptional with a mic in his hand.

An odd-ball partnership between him and Lesnar would create some excellent television and seeing him and Heyman go back and forth on the microphone together would guarantee some excellent television segments.

EC3 needs to be pushed to the moon when he does finally step up to the main roster, and having him team up with Lesnar and Heyman would definitely do that.

#3 Lars Sullivan

Lars Sullivan has done pretty much everything there is to do in NXT, and it's time that he finally made the step up to the main roster.

Sullivan is an absolute animal of a man and is also an incredibly capable performer for a big guy.

Lesnar and Sullivan teaming up would create quite the visual, and the two men could rule over the roster for the foreseeable future.

This would also instantly establish Sullivan as a star in the WWE and put him very close to the Universal title picture.

#2 The Authors of Pain

The Authors of Pain are one of the most physically impressive tag-teams in the WWE, and while their recent partnership with Drake Maverick has managed to earn them some much-needed TV time, a relationship with Lesnar and Heyman could work wonders for their careers.

The sight of Lesnar, Heyman, and The Authors of Pain walking down to the ring together is enough to strike fear into the hearts of any opponents, and the trio would be more than enough of a match for the likes of The Shield and The Show.

#1 Finn Balor

Finn Balor is in need of some sort of change

Finn Balor has to be the most underused performer on the WWE roster. The former Universal Champion has proven time and time again, with impressive performances against the likes of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, why he should be in the main event title picture, but the WWE seems to insist on keeping him floating around in upper mid-card obscurity.

Balor needs some sort of change if he is ever going to hit the heights he is capable of in the WWE, and while he may be super-over with the fanbase, a heel turn could be the be an option for the Irish superstar.

Balor has excelled as a heel in the past, giving fans some of his best work during the original Bullet Club run in NJPW.

Teaming Balor up with Lesnar and Heyman would instantly establish him as one of the company's top heels, and he could easily work with Heyman while Lesnar is away doing his thing in UFC.

This could also lead to a feud between Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar a little later down the line.
