5 Surprising Ages of a few current WWE Superstars

Cena celebrated his birthday recently

Recently, John Cena celebrated his 41st birthday and he looks amazing in his early forty's. You might be shocked to hear how old he is but remember that Wrestlers age just like everyone else.

The average wrestler now ranges from their mid twenty's to mid thirty's. There are those who are younger and older than the average but the average WWE performer is in their early thirty's.

Age is simply a number at this rate as wrestlers who are older still are able to do what they do best. For example, the Hardy's are both in their forty's and they are still doing the best they can to this day. Jeff Hardy especially as he's still doing his crazy high flying spots to this day.

Let's take a look at a few wrestlers and see how surprisingly young or old they are.

#5 The Ascension (Both are 38)

The Ascension members are both reaching their forties

They might not look like it, but both Konnor and Viktor are 38 years old. As for the tag teams, the Revival is the closest in age as Dash is 30 and Dawson is 33.

With both Ascension members being this close to forty years old and how little they mean to the tag division, expect them gone in a few years.

It's a shame considering they were one of the hottest acts in NXT and now they don't do anything.

A surprising fact about Konnor is that he has been in the WWE system since 2005 when he signed with WWE's developmental (OVW).

#4 Authors of Pain (23 & 24)

Both are apart of a huge list of early twenty-year-olds

At first glance, you'd expect these guys to range around their late twenty's to early thirty's but you'd be wrong as both men are in their early twenty's.

As mentioned, the average WWE Superstar is in their early thirty's but WWE has acquired a load of early twenty-year-olds in their system now.

Both men join the list with likes of Tyler Bate, Liv Morgan and Lio Rush to name a few. It's great to see the talent this young doing well for themselves as both AOP members are former NXT tag team champions as they dominated NXT during their time.

Now they have gotten the call up to the main roster and hopefully will have the same success.

#3 Finn Balor (36)

He looks fantastic for mid thirty's

Another surprising age considering he looks like he's about 25. At 36 years old, Finn Balor is in great shape and he looks like someone who lives off a really strict diet. Balor will be turning 37 in July.

Considering he hasn't been in WWE that long, he has dominated the wrestling world since he started in his early twenty's.

This could be said about most wrestlers but it's shocking to know that Balor is pushing forty and he looks this great every time he wrestles. Much respect to the man in staying in serious shape all these years.

#2 Adam Cole (29)

Cole is one of the rising stars in WWE at the moment

Adam Cole has been able to accomplish a lot in his career and he isn't even thirty yet. He's the only two-time ROH World Champion and the first ever NXT North American Champion to name a few.

He's only been wrestling for almost 10 years now and he's done so much in that time period. He's had success already in NXT and hopefully, that will continue to when he get's the call up to the main roster.

The scary thought is that he has another 10 to 20 years to go and who knows what he could get done in that time period.

#1 Drew McIntyre (32)

<p>
McIntyre is currently part of the RAW roster

When the chosen one made his debut and was personally picked by Vince McMahon, McIntyre was only 22 at the time. The fact that it's only been ten years and he is now one of the best is crazy to think of.

While his first run didn't really work out, he should be able to get more done this time around.

WWE has a promising future with their talent if pushed correctly as talent like McIntyre or Cole could be the next Randy Orton or even John Cena because they are so good at what they do in the ring.
