5 Teams That Can Partner With Strowman Against The Shield

It's official. For the first time since he made his debut in the main roster, Braun Strowman seems to have met his match, at long last. This time, he is at odds with The Shield and even a monster cannot overpower three top guys. So whom does he turn to for help then?

In this article, I shall explore some possibilities. Feel free to chime in and let me know your thoughts about this. Could we possibly see Strowman form an alliance?

I have a few teams in mind that could align with Strowman and create a memorable rivalry with the Hounds of Justice. In many cases, such a feud may be a blessing in disguise for these teams.

Here are 5 monstrous alliances that I can think of, right now.

#5 The Authors of Pain

It would get them out of that horrid feud with Titus Worldwide at least!

They came on to the main roster with a lot of promise and hype. Since then, they have been kept out of the title picture and somehow not booked to dominate the division. In fact, The Authors of Pain have been locked in an endless feud with Titus Worldwide.

By aligning with Braun Strowman and wrestling against The Shield, The Authors of Pain can elevate themselves to the main event picture. It would certainly help them in the ring to work with some of the top guys in the world, and also establish them as absolute monsters and minions to Braun!

In a lot of ways, at least on paper, this alliance could be a formidable opposition against The Shield and may even be seen by many as the favourites to win. The matches would be difficult to predict and could certainly make RAW exciting again.

#4 Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

This is a coalition that certainly makes much sense. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler do not like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at all. In fact, they've been embroiled in a feud in recent weeks too. Why would they not offer to join forces with the massive Monster Among Men?

It would lead to a classic case of McIntyre and Ziggler reuniting with a neutral party to take out some common foes. Bear in mind that they've had their run-ins with Roman Reigns in the past, and they are not very fond of him either. This is a match that is made in the deepest, darkest Hellish pits.

Plus, they are both fantastic workers and they can have some great matches with The Shield, when the time is right. It would also keep them in the mix and in the hunt for the Intercontinental Championship, perhaps for the time being.

#3 American Alpha

Seth Rollins went on to gold and glory while the man who stood by his side, Jason Jordan, was injured. We know that he's due for a return at any time, and now, he could even team up with his former teammate- Chad Gable. Together, they can form the backup force that Braun Strowman needs to take The Shield on. They are all absolutely extraordinary workers.

It would certainly help get Chad Gable back in the mix, if only as a heel for now. American Alpha would be back in business, much to the sheer delight of fans.

#2 The Wyatt Family

Matt Hardy is on the injured list, and so Wyatt has nobody to currently tag with. So is Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper finds himself a free agent. Doesn't it make sense for both men to return to RAW and reform the Wyatt Family once more?

After all, Braun Strowman as an integral part of the stable. Having the faction back would give The Shield credible opponents to feud against. It would bring back a rivalry with a brand new twist.

Also, it would be a step up for Bray Wyatt. I think he'd gotten a little lost in the shuffle recently, even though he was the RAW Tag Team Champion.

#1 Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal

Whether you like them or not, Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal are two top tier superstars. And they were missing on this past week of RAW. Maybe the plan is to have these two men unite with The Monster Among Men eventually. And in doing so, form a really formidable alliance.

Their chemistry would be interesting to see. All three men have great comic timing and could really pull off some fun skits. They could also seem like credible opponents for the Hounds of Justice.

What do you guys think of this list? Do you see WWE forming any of the alliances mentioned?
