WWE needs to bring their 'A game' on Raw this week.

This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE has a chance to make up for their awful booking last week on the flagship show, as the go-home episode of Raw before Hell in a Cell 2018 looks to be a memorable episode on paper. But as we all know by now, no matter how good WWE can make their card seem, their silly errors always let fans down in the last minute.

So to avoid making the same mistakes they make every single week, if the company just stick to a basic plan as follows, they could make the go home show of Raw something to remember.

#1 The Raw women's division picks up steam

The division has been wandering for a while now.

Last week on Raw the women's division did not have the best booking to work with, as other than The Bella Twins returning to action and Dana Brooke leaving Titus Worldwide, there was no other memorable moment or segment produced by WWE involving these superstars.

So this week WWE needs to work on hyping up the Raw Women's Title match between Ronda Rousey and Alexa Bliss, making sure that Dana Brooke's newly reformed singles run isn't a failure and The Riott Squad, Sasha Banks and Bayley and Ember Moon have a meaningful night.

#2 WWE justifies Kevin Owens actions last week

There has to be a reason.

Last week on Raw, WWE did the impossible and wasted the momentum create by themselves with Kevin Owens character by having him quit, as they brought him back for a cheap pop just to assault Bobby Lashley. Owens terrible night was not done there as he was part of the heels that destroyed The Shield to aid his mortal enemy Braun Strowman.

There has to be an explanation for this outrageous actions by a superstar that is generally in line with kayfabe right? Yeah, hopefully, WWE gives fans a reason, as not doing so would just destroy Owens credibility even more.

#3 A rejuvenation of the Raw tag team scene

A brink of hope.

WWE did something right last week on the red brand, as they crowned new Raw Tag Team Champions. While it was not The Revival, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler was a better fit when you consider the amount of momentum these men have. On the other side of the spectrum, WWE also made efforts in getting the Authors of Pain back on track, and the unexpected team of Chad Gable and Bobby Roode made strides in their debut.

The Raw tag team division has finally picked up momentum, and WWE must continue that notion this week by having all these teams continue their hot streak.

#4 Triple H and Mick Foley add something meaningful to the show

Another set of legends will be on Raw this week.

Last week, The Undertaker and Shawn Micheals stood across the ring from each other with intention of hyping up Triple H vs The Undertaker, but the only thing fans could talk about that segment was whether Shawn Micheals would step into the ring one more time. Sure that speculation might be nothing but a rumor being passed around, but WWE has kept it going by having two more legends appearing this week.

Mick Foley and Triple H might only be appearing on Raw to deliver a promo about Supershow Down and Hell in a Cell, WWE should utilize them in the same way they used Michealsja and Undertaker. As more newsworthy content to come out of these segments will help Raw feel more important to watch, and surely these legends can provide that.

#5 The Shield and Braun Strowman tear the house down

A strong conclusion to the show is needed.

The Shield and Braun Strowman's rivalry has been an entertaining affair, but from a booking standpoint, it has been disappointing, as WWE has made some questionable decisions in the build-up to this feud. Now that WWE has one more shot to make amends for the confusing nature of this programme they must not waste it.

As the only solution for this rivalry one week before Hell in a Cell 2018 is to have these superstars tear each other apart for the entire three hours in this episode. From backstage assaults to locker room brawls, The Shield needs to be an unstoppable force this week and Strowman should be booked as the same.
