The WWE is going through a transition of sorts, as the top of the card is in the process of shuffling around and changed over the next few weeks and months.

While the WWE are doing superbly well financially, winning huge TV deals and new audiences from around the world, a lot of fans aren't happy with what they have been seeing in the ring, and every week on RAW and SmackDown.

So, what ails WWE programming and what don't the fans want to see in 2019? We take a look at the 5 things WWE fans don't want to see in 2019.

#1 Multi-women tag matches

<p>

WWE, currently, have some wonderfully talented female Superstars, including the likes of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey.

With such a stacked roster filled with athletically gifted Superstars, it is surprising that we have multi-women tag matches almost every week on RAW or SmackDown. Due to a large number of Superstars, WWE have found it difficult to accommodate them every week, but multi-women tag matches aren't the way to go.

With nothing to fight for, tag team matches in the women's division are useless and don't do anything for a Superstar neither does it entertain the crowd.

WWE could instead have at least two women's matches on each show instead of boring backstage segments or add women's tag titles to both brands.

The inclusion of women's tag titles has been rumoured for a while, and with the all-women's Evolution PPV in a few months, WWE could add them to both brands.

Most WWE fans have had enough of Asuka or Charlotte or Sasha wrestle in tag team matches which do not showcase their talents.

#2 Brock Lesnar as the Universal Champion

<p>

This is a no-brainer. The WWE fans do not like Brock Lesnar. From the no-showing at RAW shows or PPVs, and not defending his Universal title, Lesnar has lost several fans.

A majority of the WWE audience want to see the Universal Championship belt around the waists of a Superstar who shows up and defends his title.

The rumour mill suggests that Lesnar is set to leave after SummerSlam, but a recent report stated that Lesnar may be signed to part-time contracts by both UFC and WWE. If that is the case, we may well see The Beast still hold on to the Universal title even in 2018.

And with a match between Lesnar and UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, set to take place sometime in early 2018, WWE may well use that mega UFC match to generate more eyeballs in the WWE, or may even rope in Cormier, who is a massive WWE fan, for a programme.

If that happens, WWE fans may not be impressed.

#3 Former NXT stars booked badly

<p>

This point could just be focused on two people - Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura. Both former NXT Superstars who got the call-up to the main roster, both have held the United States Championship, and both haven't lived up to the expectations or their NXT performances.

WWE have booked pretty poorly, first in SmackDown - where he did win the US Championship belt - and now on RAW. Roode is best as a heel, whether it was NXT or in TNA. His booking on RAW has taken him nowhere and he's currently left without any story.

Nakamura, on the other hand, has been a revelation as a heel but is using the same gimmick (the low blows) over and over again, which has got a bit tedious. He's not great on the mic, so WWE will have to work on that or give him a manager who can bring his heelish ways out.

#4 Boring heels

<p>

Talking of heels, there aren't too many great heels on either roster. Nakamura, as mentioned in the previous slide, has been better as a heel than a face on the main roster, but still does not cut it.

SmackDown has the better heels currently with Randy Orton, Samoa Joe and The Miz, but RAW has very few. Kevin Owens is probably the best heel in the WWE now, but the rest of the heels on RAW, namely Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre are boring.

#5 Roman Reigns as "The Guy" of WWE

<p>

This is bound to happen, but if Vince McMahon and WWE pull off a swerve and abandon "Project Reigns", the WWE Universe will be very glad! Reigns is not a bad wrestler, neither is he bad on the mic (let's give him some credit, he has improved on the mic in the last six months.

Reigns could solve the problem of the "boring heels" as mentioned in the previous slide by becoming one. It would solve two problems with one strike!

Reigns is surely the present and future of the WWE, but it has to happen organically and not pushed down the throats of the fans. They love him in The Shield, so that suggests that the WWE audience do like him.
