5 times crime was used in WWE storylines

WWE Superstars are hardly angels

Sometimes in WWE storylines aren’t so cut and dry.

Every now and again, the WWE will have a storyline with criminal intentions in mind.

Here we look at the 5 storylines the WWE has put on that involved a crime being committed

.

#5 Stephanie gets arrested

Brie(left) Stephanie (Right)

In the summer of 2014 Brie Bella was involved in a great angle with Stephanie McMahon in which Stephanie had kayfabe fired her.

During an episode of Raw, Brie Bella was in attendance as a member of the audience. Stephanie came down to ringside and started to taunt Brie. The Bella twin began exchanging words with Stephanie and then Stephanie smacked Bire in the face.

Later that night the police came and arrested Stephanie on the show for attacking a spectators.

Stephanie was taken to a local police station to the delight of the fans and Brie Bella herself.

#4 Cena gets stabbed

Carilto vs John Cena

In 2004 Carlito defeated John Cena for the United States Championship. After the loss to Carlito, the duo began a feud, during which Cena was (kayfabe) stabbed in the kidney while at a Boston-area nightclub by Carlito's bodyguard, Jesús.

This worked injury was used to keep Cena out of action for a month, during which Cena was actually filming his feature film debut, The Marine.

#3 Katie Vick

Is it really Kane?

In 2002 Triple h had told everybody that Kane was responsible for the murder of Katie Vick. Kane stated that they had a bit too much to drink and he was behind the wheel of the car that they were on. Apparently Kane crashed the car and Katie Vick died.

Then the story leaped to a whole new level, into the disgusting realm of necrophelia.

Triple H put on a Kane mask and went to Katie Vick's funeral and had intercourse, with what was supposed to be Katie Vick.

This storyline was one WWE would happily forget ever happened.

#2 Stone Cold getting knocked down

Who did it?

Austin was originally scheduled to compete at Survivor Series 1999 for the WWE Championship against both Triple H and The Rock. As Austin was giving an interview, however, Triple H intervened, forcing Austin to go after him.

Shockingly, Austin was then run over by a moving vehicle.

For the better part of 2000, the big question hanging over WWE centered around who ran over Austin.

Rikishi revealed himself as the man who did it. Rikishi explained that he did it for The Rock, a fellow Samoan.

Austin returned to the ring at WWE No Mercy in October 2000 for a highly anticipated encounter with the man who ran him down. Though the match officially ended in a no-contest, Austin dominated Rikishi with a serious beating that left him bloodied and bruised.

#1 Austin/Pillman

Best of friends, Worst of enemies

In this storyline, Austin destroyed Pillman's ankle in an in-ring segment. The on-screen rivalry between the two former WCW partners became personal with Austin going after Pillman in his own home.

Pillman did an interview from his home on the November 4, 1996 episode of Raw with Vince McMahon and he pulled out a gun. They went to break there. Austin ended up showing up at Pillman's house, he beat up some of Pillman's friends and got into the home by breaking a window.

Pillman had the gun cocked and ready to go, but they went to break.

This left everbody wondering if anybody had actually fired a shot, and garnered a lot of negative publicity for the WWE.
