It's a well-known fact that the Attitude Era in WWE was loved by all. Modern-day audiences often chant or display signs in the crowd asking the WWE management to bring back the glory days. However, in the PG era, there are many Superstars who have built a name for themselves despite the restrictions.

But, if these superstars were in the Attitude Era, they would have been more successful with better rivalries and engaging feuds to entertain the WWE Universe.

Here is a list of 5 such stars who could have etched a better place in the Attitude era.

#5 Kevin Owens

KO is a three-time United States Champion, a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a former NXT as well as Universal Champion. This Canadian pro wrestler has proved himself to be a big name in WWE but he's capable of so much more.

His ongoing feud with the McMahons clearly depicts him as the number one anti-hero on SmackDown Live. But he could have done much more justice to his ability if he wrestled in the Attitude Era.

The way the fans boo him goes on to show that he is giving his 100% to his character and promos. A match between KO and Hulk Hogan could have been a spectacle during the Attitude Era.

#4 Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio is another wrestler who was initially given an outstanding push by the company but he had a bitter departure. Despite his outstanding journey to the top of the business, his departure was equally disheartening for the fans.

Del Rio has the moves, techniques and determination to fight the best in the business and earn revenue for the company. However, Alberto Del Rio would have been more popular and a bigger star if he was in the Attitude Era.

He could have feuded with top superstars like Shawn Michaels, Gregory Helms, Booker T and much more. A classic feud in the Attitude Era could have been between Del Rio and Booker T for the World Heavyweight Championship.

#3 The Miz

Miz has accomplished almost every possible achievement in WWE. Few superstars in WWE history can match the talk shows and promos The Miz puts forth.

Whether it is in singles competition or forming alliances, The Miz has always shown why he is the A-Lister. The WWE management even made him cross paths with the likes of The Rock, Stone Cold and others.

But The Miz could have done much more justice to his character had he been an Attitude Era performer. Imagine The Miz vs Lance Storm or Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental Championship. There is not an iota of doubt that he would have been the greatest villain in WWE if he was a part of the Attitude Era.

#2 Ryback

Another WWE superstar who was never given his full due is this man. Ryback was initially depicted as 'The Big Guy' who was hungry to be fed more. However, WWE could never fully utilize the potential of his superb talent and ability to combat inside the ring. Backstage politics also played a part in his demise as well.

Ryback won the Intercontinental Championship once and that was his only taste of any championship in WWE. His catchphrase "Feed Me More" was loved by the fans and he was recognized as a dominating force in the WWE. Inspite of that, apart from a few narratives with The Nexus and Curtis Axel, Ryback has nothing to brag about in the WWE.

Had he been in the Attitude Era he would have done much better. His strength and feuds could have been used to obtain high viewership. Fans would have loved to see Ryback vs Stone Cold or Mick Foley.

#1 Sheamus

Ever since his debut, Sheamus has made an outstanding impression in the WWE. This Irish superstar has held the WWE Championship thrice and the World Heavyweight Championship once. He is a King Of The Ring, Money In The Bank, and Royal Rumble winner as well.

However, despite headlining many events and shows, Sheamus has lost the glory he initially enjoyed. A wrestler of his quality could have contributed much more to the Attitude Era.

His enormous strength, ability to carry feuds and capability to brawl could have made him a bigger star in the Attitude Era compared to the PG era. Imagine Sheamus vs The Rock as the main event of WrestleMania for the WWE Championship.
