The WWE are the biggest and most successful company in the history of professional wrestling. There is no doubt about it. Ever since being purchased by Vincent K McMahon from his father, Vince Sr, the company has grown from being one of several territories in the United States of America to being the dominant force in the continent, then the world.

Most wrestlers we see on WWE tv these days will have grown up watching the shows, hoping that one day they would be able to walk down that aisle. And whilst working for WWE has been a dream come true, some wrestlers have not enjoyed their time with the number one show.

Here are 8 wrestlers who will never return to the WWE.

Gail Kim

Kim
Kim did return in 2008, but later said she regretted returning, and vowed never to go back.

In her 2003 debut, Gail Kim shocked the world, capturing the Women's Championship in a battle royal on RAW. It was a shocking moment to say the least, and Kim's athletic ability meshed well with the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita and Victoria.

However, the rest of her WWE career could not match. Kim dropped the title a month later, and randomly turned heel, before an injury took her out in November. Returning in April 2004, Kim wrestled sporadically, before being released in October, a release that cought the Canadian off guard.

As a multiple-time Impact Knockouts Champion, and 2016 TNA Hall of Famer, don't expect her to return to the company.

Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio
Del Rio is a multiple time WWE World Champion.

Similar to Kim, Del Rio has already got a return to WWE under his belt, returning in 2015 after being released the year prior.

However, a series of wellness suspensions and attitude problems saw the Mexican Aristocrat released again in 2016, and Del Rio hasn't done himself any favors since.

In a series of videos, Del Rio insulted WWE COO Triple H, and made a habit of no-showing events on the indpendent scene.

Add an investigation into domestic abuse in the mix, and despite his wishes, it seems unlikely that he will drive down a WWE ramp again.

Neville

Neville as WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

The story of Neville's release from the company is unique to say the least.

Already a major star on the independent scene, Neville broke ground as NXT Champion, setting the record for the longest reign, which has only been broken by Finn Bálor.

On the main roster though, Neville was scarcely used, with a rumor going around that Vince McMahon wanted him to be a literal danger-mouse character.

Despite a highly-impressive reign as Cruiserweight Champion, contract disputes between the Brit and the WWE led to him missing the majority of this year.

After further building his star in WWE, expect Neville to return to the indies, refreshed and revitalized.

Brad Maddox

Brad Maddox's time on the main roster may have brief, but he certainly left an impact.

After costing Ryback the WWE Championship at Hell In A Cell 2012, Maddox was quickly boosted into a general manager position.

After being repacked as Joshua Kingsley, he was fired for using a word at a British audience, that went against WWE's standards.

After being caught up in a scandal recently, Maddox has kept a low profile, and WWE have not contacted him.

He does say that he has no regrets however, and he is looking at different prospects.

Mr. Kennedy

kENNED
Kennedy insisted on announcing himself before matches.

Someone who was billed as a future World champion, things didn't exactly go to plan for the Green Bay loudmouth.

The former US Champion was even supposed to be revealed as Mr. McMahon's illegitimate child, before the dubious honor was passed onto Hornswoggle.

According to Kennedy, he was released after Randy Orton complained about a stiff suplex Kennedy gave, with John Cena reportedly siding with Orton to have him released.

Kennedy (going by Mr. Anderson) scoped out success in TNA IMPACT, but he hasn't exactly shown a desire to return to WWE.

Sunny

S
Sunny looks on with glee, during an episode of RAW.

The original Diva, Sunny was the object of all men's affection during her run in the New Generation Era.

Managing the Bodydonnas, she later found fame returning LOD 2000, who made a big splash, winning a battle royal at WrestleMania 14.

However, in recent years, Sunny has had a lot of problems with substance abuse and the law, but was able to put that behind her when she was inducted into the WWE 2011 Hall of Fame.

She has since gotten into more problems sadly, and whilst WWE have tried to help her avoid prison, it'd be foolish for the company to put their efforts into someone so risky.

Marty Jannetty

T
Shawn and Marty's IC Title match was PWI's match of 1993.

In 1992, Marty Jannetty was fired from WWE, after rumors that he was unconscious backstage due to substance abuse problems.

To this day, Jannetty has denied the rumor, saying he was just asleep, and claims the rumor was started by former Tag-partner Shawn Michaels.

To make amends, the WWE rehired him, and had Shawn lose his Intercontinental title to him.

However, Jannetty quickly left after real problems, and though he returned in 2006, but left after a shocking message from Marty's Facebook, which he claims was due to hackers.

CM Punk

Much to the disappointment of many fans, CM Punk has made it clear he never intends to wrestle for the WWE, if he ever wrestles again at all.

Punk left the company after the 2014 Royal Rumble, after feeling under-utilized and claimed the company knowingly made him work whilst ill.

An appearance on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast, and a lawsuit with WWE doctor, Dr. Chris Amann has let most fans know the Chicago Made star has no intention to return.

These days, he competes for the UFC, with an 0-2-0 record.
