The final PPV before WrestleMania kicks off on 11th March
The final PPV before WrestleMania kicks off on 11th March

WWE will make its final stop before WrestleMania 34 this Sunday, as SmackDown Live is all set to host their brand exclusive PPV Fastlane from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

The results of the event will play a very vital role in the stories going forward towards WrestleMania 34.

The following is the match card for the event as of this writing:

i. Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Natalya and Carmella

ii. "The Usos" vs "The New Day" for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

iii. Charlotte Flair vs Ruby Riott for the SmackDown Women's Championship

iv. Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton for the United States Championship

v. Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev

vi. AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn vs John Cena - Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship

Lots of questions will be answered through the results of the PPV as we will find out if the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania will be Shinsuke Nakamura, or, will John Cena walk into the show of shows as the WWE Champion defending in a triple threat match.

All these questions will be answered this Sunday and with that in mind, let us look into the full match card predictions for WWE Fastlane.

#6 Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Natalya and Carmella

Women's Tag Team Match
Women's Tag Team Match

Naomi and Becky Lynch will be taking on the team of Natalya and Ms. Money in the bank, Carmella in a Tag Team match on this Sunday.

There is not much importance on this program and we can expect this match to be a part of the pre-show. Charlotte is occupied with Ruby Riott and quite possibly will move on to a feud with Asuka for WrestleMania, there is no chance that these women will be involved in the women's championship program.

Expect this match to take place just a few minutes before we move on to the main show.

Prediction: Carmella and Natalya win and carry on the feud possibly to keep them busy for WrestleMania 34.

#5 "The Usos" vs "The New Day" for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Usos and New Day
The Tag Team title match

After their outstanding match inside Hell in a Cell, "The Usos" and "The New Day" will reignite their feud as they will battle this Sunday for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

We can expect this match to be one of the best matches of the night as we are aware of what these two teams are capable of when they go against each other.

The only difference between their last rivalry and now is that they have the Bludgeon Brothers lurking in the shadows waiting for their opportunity to strike. We've seen the three teams cross paths in the last few weeks but they haven't got physical yet.

We can expect the Bludgeon Brothers to play a crucial part as they might end up interfering in the match.

Prediction: The Usos retain the Championships due to a distraction by the Bludgeon Brothers and possibly plant the seeds for a triple threat tag team championship match at WrestleMania 34.

#4 Charlotte Flair vs Ruby Riott for the SmackDown Women's Championship

Charlotte vs Ruby Riott
Not the best WWE had to offer!

Charlotte Flair will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against the leader of the "Riott Squad" Ruby Riott at Fastlane.

This may not be the best match for the SmackDown women's title, with other credible challengers like Becky Lynch on the roster. Not taking anything from Riott, but it looks like she has been given a title match way too soon.

There is a chance that the first-ever women's Royal Rumble winner Asuka will decide to face the Blue Brand's Women's Champion at WrestleMania 34. Thus, it makes sense that WWE should've given more star power for this match and should've gone with Becky Lynch instead.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair wins and retains the Championship.

#3 Randy Orton vs Bobby Roode for the United States Championship

Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton
Will the Viper capture United States Championship?

Randy Orton will look to capture the only title that has eluded him in his legendary career this Sunday as he will take on Bobby Roode for the United States Championship.

The Viper made his intentions clear that he wants the United States Championship and complete his championship collection in the WWE.

But it's not just about Randy Orton and Bobby Roode as there is another superstar involved in this rivalry. The former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal also plays an important role in this match as he had confronted both superstars in the last few weeks and has defeated Randy on this week's SmackDown Live.

Mahal is not officially added to the match as of this writing because there is already a six-pack challenge on the card and the WWE would not want to use the same formula twice in a single night. But we can expect Mahal to play a prominent role in this match.

Prediction: Match ends in DQ as Jinder Mahal interferes in the match and attacks Orton and Roode.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev

Nakamura vs Rusev
Happy Rusev Day folks

Rusev challenged Shinsuke Nakamura to match on this week's episode of SmackDown Live when he accused the Royal-Rumble winner of damaging Aiden English's voice when Nakamura planted his knee on English's throat on last week's SmackDown.

This match is not considered a big deal by the WWE, but surely, this match will bring the loudest crowd chants of the night.

As far as the result of the match is concerned, it is quite predictable who would walk away with the win, with WrestleMania 34 just around the corner.

Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Rusev.

#1 Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship

Six-Pack Challenge
Who will walk into WrestleMania with the WWE Championship?

Six men will battle it out for the opportunity to walk into WrestleMania 34 as the WWE Champion. The match what started off as a triple threat became a fatal five way and then went on to become a six-pack-challenge.

With John Cena's addition, this match has the eyes of the WWE universe firmly fixed on it. The winner of this match will go onto WrestleMania 34 to defend the Championship against the Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura.

It makes no sense to take the title away from AJ Styles at this point as the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for the dream match between Styles and Nakamura at WrestleMania.

With the Undertaker's status still up in the air, there is a possibility that John Cena will be a part of the WWE championship program for WrestleMania. If the Undertaker is cleared to compete, then it's back to Plan A with Styles and Nakamura facing each other at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Prediction: AJ Styles wins and retains the WWE Championship.
