Full Predictions for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw

Pr
Predicting an unpredictable night

The WWE Universe is extremely salivated to witness the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw and to celebrate this commendable accomplishment, the company is trying everything in their power to hype the show as much as possible.

It has been recently announced that this gargantuan episode will also have a Pre-Show which only assists our anticipation of how big of an event this is going to be. All legends, future stars will be under one big umbrella to celebrate a monumental achievement.

Here are our full predictions of the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw

#9 Vince McMahon will make an appearance

The Chairman will make his presence known

Let's be honest, there can be no WWE without the Chairman of the board, Vince McMahon. Whether you like him or not, you have to admit the fact that he is responsible for making this business what it is today. His vision has been pivotal in making WWE a global phenomenon by giving mainstream popcorn entertainment to legions of the WWE fans.

The 25th Anniversary could start with a rare yet exceptional appearance by Vince McMahon which would probably be received with an outstanding ovation from the live audience. His present creative mindset is questionable but, there's no denying the fact that if it wasn't for his ideology to grow the wrestling business into a global phenomenon, we wouldn't be predicting or anticipating any of this.

Expect an emotional speech from the chairman culminating with a thank you note to all the superstars in the locker room & of course, the WWE Universe.

#8 Bray Wyatt makes it personal with Woken Matt Hardy

These magical entities will get personal

We all know that Jeff Hardy has been scheduled to appear at the 25th Anniversary of Raw. Since his brother has now been 'Woken', it would make sense in terms of storytelling to have him confront his brother. The logical booking should be to make the feud more personal with Jeff Hardy at the expense of it.

While asking for his brother's present mindset and despising his illusions, it would be the perfect time for Bray to bring his game into play and annihilate 'The Charismatic Enigma'. This feud has all the potential to be Wyatt's best till date. If the WWE taps into the dark and eviler side of Bray Wyatt by putting it on display on Monday, then we have another solid feud with long-term prospects.

Expecting Wyatt to take Jeff Hardy to his world with him would not only make the feud more personal and interesting but would also provide a decisive reason to bring back 'Brother Nero' in splendid fashion.

#7 More Reunions, Little Wrestling

More talking, less fighting

The only match that has been advertised for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw is 'The Big Dog' defending his Intercontinental Championship against 'The A-Lister'. While the match would be a fun bout, but, since a lot of legends have been scheduled to grace the evening with their presence, expect the focus to be more on the reunions and lesser on wrestling.

Since WWE's preference should be to bring the past and the present together, it would be fun to see how they present it to the WWE Universe. A D-Generation X coming face to face with the Balor Club could define the tone for the whole show and could turn out to be significant since the emphasis should be to elevate the present roster by getting some rub off the past.

There's no denying the fact that there could be matches with legends participating for a one-night bout only. This would definitely turn out beneficial for newer tag teams. The Dudley Boyz Vs The Revival could happen this Monday Night.

#6 The Miz will win the Intercontinental Championship

The
The Awesome One will reclaim his Intercontinental Championship

'The A-Lister' has been the most dominant heel on Monday Night Raw and continues to improve between the ropes. The man has elevated the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship and made it look like 'The Championship' on Monday Night Raw. He is scheduled to face 'The Big Dog' at the 25th Anniversary of Raw in what could be a solid match.

WWE has bigger plans for the company's top guy and would most probably shift his focus to the Royal Rumble and the Universal Championship. He may be scheduled to face 'The Beast Incarnate' at WrestleMania 34 at the Superdome for the Universal Championship. If this is true, it would make every sense in the world for 'the A-Lister' to defeat him and head to the Royal Rumble as the Intercontinental Champion.

Expect this to be a fun and entertaining bout with loads of good spots culminating with a win for The Miz. A possible interference could be the way to go since WWE's ideal plan has been to always make Roman Reigns look strong on television.

#5 Kurt Angle's leadership will be questioned

T
Triple H and Kurt Angle will come face to face again

From a booking standpoint, it would make sense to concentrate on what culminated last week surrounding the havoc caused by 'The Monster Among Men'. The Raw General Manager's leadership will be questioned.

'The New Face of Destruction' destroyed the backstage area and the production truck after he was fired by the Olympic Gold Medalist for his actions a week prior, where he viciously assaulted Lesnar & Kane. Braun's unending decimation caused Stephanie McMahon to intervene and rehire him the exact same night. Now there's no clue on who decided to fire him and this is what makes this storyline interesting.

However, rumours have been swirling around that the plan is to start a monumental feud between 'The Game' and 'The Monster Among Men' which is likely to culminate at the 'Show of Shows'. It would be ideal for Stephanie and Triple H to question Kurt's authoritative leadership which could end with Braun making a solid cameo appearance.

#4 Who will have the last laugh?

Who will b
Who will be the Last Man Standing?

Braun Strowman's vicious backstage assault two weeks back was a pure example of evil lunacy which forced 'The Beast Incarnate' to receive immediate medical attention and left the 'Big Red Machine' struggling to stand on his own feet. Since this will be the last episode of Raw before the Royal Rumble, the WWE will do everything in its power to sell the match under the talented advocacy of Paul Heyman.

If you look at the history books, then anyone who has tried to provoke 'The Beast' has received double the decimation in return and since the Universal Champion will show up on the 25th Anniversary of Raw, he won't be in the mood to celebrate. 'The Beast' will bring annihilation with him and decimate 'The Monster'.

The logical way to book this segment would be to have Kane get the better off both his opponents by seeking redemption. Since 'The Big Red Machine' has been rumoured to retire soon, it would be a great way to sell the PPV by having him destroy both his opponents. Kane will most likely take the pin at the Royal Rumble and it would be logical to let him have the last laugh for perhaps 'the final time'.

#3 Stone Cold will raise hell

T
Steve Austin will return with the Attitude Era

There's no denying the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin ruled the Attitude Era, a period that revolutionized wrestling and turned it into a massive mainstream entertainment business. He will make his thunderous appearance at the show and will bring back the Attitude Era with him in splendid fashion.

WWE recognizes Austin as the greatest WWE performer of all time considering his popularity with the WWE Universe and his blockbuster feud with Vince McMahon which set the tone of the wrestling business during the 90s.

There will be reunions and there will be a colossal celebration which could not only be a solid segment but, with possible interventions from the present superstars will also make this a memorable moment. Expect Steve Austin to celebrate the 25th Anniversary with his Attitude Era counterparts and raise hell. Well, you cannot have a 25th Anniversary without a Stone Cold Stunner.

#2 Royal Rumble match will be the 'focus'

Expect a humongous brawl

The Royal Rumble will take place on January 28, 2018, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will host the 'First Ever Woman's Royal Rumble Match'. Despite the enormous celebration that will rock Raw 25, WWE will keep the Royal Rumble matches as the centre of attention.

We could see a panel of legends pick their favourites to win it all at Philly in a gigantic segment on Monday Night Raw. A SmackDown Invasion could be a great opportunity for WWE to sell the segment and most importantly provide proper marketability to the pay-per-view.

Expect more superstars or legends to announce their entry into the Royal Rumble which would most likely end with a humongous brawl. Superstars from SmackDown and Raw will tear each other apart where there will be every man and woman for themselves.

#1 The Clash of the Century

This wi
This will blow the roof off the place

If WWE wants to end the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw on a high note and send the WWE Universe emotional, shocked & entertained, then it needs to bring two of the biggest stars of all time to confront each other in what could literally be 'The Clash of the Century'. This match could alone sell the Superdome without an actual build up and that speaks volumes about how significant these two veterans have been to the WWE and the wrestling business as a whole.

Two dynamic polarizing superstars who have completely different characters but, at the same time, share the same passion for the business in general. This is a match which deserves a major platform and, a possible confrontation could set the tone for a marquee match at the 'Grandest Stage of Them All'.

The Undertaker is scheduled to appear at the 25th Anniversary and could be involved in the closing segment addressing the WWE Universe on his future and while he continues to thank the WWE, 'A 16-time World Champion' could interrupt and bring the house down with a monumental proposal. A proposal of this magnitude should close the show with John challenging 'The Phenom' to a match at Wrestlemania. To make it more humongous, add a 'Career Vs Career' stipulation. The 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw would end on fire with two of 'the greatest of all time' challenging each other for one last ride.
