What’s the story?
After weeks of speculation, WWE has tonight confirmed that the Greatest Royal Rumble event will air live on the WWE Network. WWE has also confirmed the start time and a pre-show for the event!
In case you didn’t know...
WWE will make history this year when they have a third Royal Rumble this year, and the largest Royal Rumble Match ever.
The Greatest Royal Rumble will feature a 50-man Royal Rumble Match, and also seven championship matches.
The event will see the Intercontinental Championship, Cruiserweight Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championships, SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Universal Championship and the WWE Championship defended in Saudi Arabia.
Matches already confirmed for the event are John Cena vs. Triple H as well as seven championship matches, including a Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus & Cesaro, and an Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe.

As of tonight, WWE has confirmed that The Greatest Royal Rumble event will air on the WWE Network on April 27th.
Not only will the event air on the WWE Network, but WWE also confirmed that The Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff will stream live from Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on WWE Network, too, and can also be seen on a free stream on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.
This comes hot off the news that Daniel Bryan will be in the 50-man Royal Rumble Match.

The Greatest Royal Rumble will be shown live globally on WWE Network from the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27.

This is a huge relief. The card is already shaping up to be incredible and, after Starrcade was not broadcast, there were fears this monumental event may see the same fate.
The pay-per-view looks to be must-see, though, so this news is incredibly welcome - and I can’t wait to watch it!
