Braun Strowman will face another giant

Braun Strowman will face another giant

What’s the story?

The Labor Day edition of Monday Night Raw might have one of the biggest cage matches of all time after WWE added this match to the show. Who knows what kind of destruction could result from this confrontation?

In case you didn’t know

Big Show has made a career making other people look very small because he's a giant. He's a veteran and WWE continually looks at him to mentor new talent as long as he's in the company.

WWE likes to book Big Show against larger opponents for feuds so they can learn from his mastery of in-ring storytelling. Big Show's pacing is great and anyone would be lucky to learn under his guidance.

Braun Strowman and Big Show have faced off against each other a couple of times in the past and it always resulted in amazing matches. The last time the two collided in the ring they tore the house down... literally.

Big Show just came off of a loss to Big Cass in a valiant attempt to get him over at SummerSlam. Unfortunately, fans may never know the true results of Show putting him over because Big Cass injured his knee the next night on Raw and will be out an expected nine months due to a wrecked ACL.

Braun Strowman currently has his eyes set on Brock Lesnar as he wants to take the Universal Championship at No Mercy. But in the meantime there is still apparently something to settle between Show and Strowman.

The heart of the matter

To give their Labor Day Raw a huge ratings boost, WWE booked a massive cage match between Braun Strowman and Big Show. We can only imagine this match will main event the night because of the massive size of the contest in question.

So as we prepare to see these two big men lock horns in the ring once more we can only speculate how adding a cage to the equation will make matters even more impressive and violent.

What's Next?

Big Show stated after WrestleMania 33 that he probably won't be around for the next Show Of Shows. As Big Show winds down his shoo-in Hall Of Fame worthy career WWE needs to pick his final feuds wisely and give the rub to those who deserve it.

Braun Strowman is young, hungry, and has the possibility of being one of the biggest names in pro wrestling histo. Big Show is going to give Strowman one more chance to prove he has what it takes before No Mercy where The Monster Among Men will challenge for the Universal Title.

Author's Take

This is an incredibly wise move on WWE's part. Labor Day is one of those holidays where ratings can slump and WWE wants to provide themselves a little extra insurance to make the loss as minimal as possible. If these two guys destroyed the entire ring during their last outing together the mind has to wonder what they will be able to accomplish in a steel cage.
