#5 The Shield Vs The Brothers of Destruction and Daniel Bryan (RAW, April 2013)

Attacking the Undertaker was the icing on the cake
Attacking the Undertaker was the icing on the cake for the Shield

The Shield were still relatively new and had already made an impact. Attacking the Undertaker was the icing on the cake.

But the young rookies should have known than to poke the dragon. Aligning himself with his brother Kane and Daniel Bryan, the trio were set to destroy the Shield brothers.

But after a half-an-hour match, as well as a devastating chokeslam by The Undertaker on Ambrose, it was the hounds of justice that emerged victorious.

This had been the greatest threat to the Shield's dominance, and they stood tall. It's no wonder that less than a month later, all three were wearing championship gold.

In 2013, there was perhaps no more star-studded team than John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus.

Cena was already an established star and had won his second Royal Rumble match the month prior.

Ryback had been rocketed to the moon, going from destroying jobbers to facing CM Punk for the WWE Championship. Sheamus had won the 2012 Rumble and had had a six-month reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

But none of them could take down the Shield.

Vowing to rid the WWE of the 'John Cena problem', the trio used their ever-present teamwork to win the day, with a spear from Ryback to Sheamus allowing Rollins to make the pin, proving that even when the teams are even, the odds were always in the Shield's favor.

The Shield had decimated superstars in post-match beatdowns, backstage attacks and blindsiding

Since debuting at Survivor Series, The Shield had decimated superstars in post-match beatdowns, backstage attacks and blindsiding. But the question remained: When would the Shield wrestle a match?

That question was answered at TLC 2012, in the first-ever six-Man TLC match. Facing future nemesis Ryback and Team Hell No, the Hounds of justice vowed to show the world they meant business. And they did just that.

After a powerbomb through a table to the YES! Movement leader, the trio showed that they were destined for greatness, and in their first match ever, could hang with the best of them.

#2 The Shield Vs. Evolution (Extreme Rules 2014)

The Shield may have won the battle, but mere weeks later, Rollins betrayed his brothers, and Triple H seemingly won the war

In a war that took place all across the arena, the newly-face Shield aimed to stick it to the old guard, facing the team of Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista. The odds were not in the Shield's favor, as their opponents at the time had a combined 31 World Title reigns between them, compared to the Shield's zero.

But never ones to bow to the odds, the younger stars came out swinging, with Reigns out spearing the animal to win.

However, the most memorable moment has to be Rollins diving off the barricade onto everyone in his way, regardless if they were friend or foe.

#1 The Shield Vs. The Wyatt Family (Elimination Chamber 2014)

For months, the two entities, the Shield and the Wyatts had existed on RAW, never crossing paths
For months, the two entities, the Shield and the Wyatts had existed on RAW, never crossing paths

You know it's going to be good when there's 'This Is Awesome' chants before the match had even started.

For months, the two entities, the Shield and the Wyatts had existed on RAW, never crossing paths. The Shield were about justice, order and brutality. The Wyatt's shared the love for brutality, but preferred chaos over order and sacrifice to justice.

Ever the lunatic, Dean Ambrose threw himself at Bray, the pair brawling into the crowd. With Ambrose out of the equation, Rollins and Reigns held their own, until Rollins was out as well. Despite a valiant effort, the Big Dog fell to the bizarre family, but the brothers proved that even in defeat, they'd always leave their mark on the WWE Universe.
