The Yeah and Naah of SmackDown Live

E
SmackDown Live was a great show this week

The matches, segments and promos were fun. There were some fun moments and some bitter moments from the show. So I would like to introduce Yeah as great moments and Naah as bad and unwatchable. Lets us talk about these moments:

#1. Yeah: Randy Orton promo

Randy Orton again proved why he his work as a heel is the best. He again cut a great promo as a heel telling everyone that Jeff Hardy is not a superhero and that is why he attacked him last week.

But Randy Orton is still not in a match at SummerSlam. Let us see if he gets added to the United States Championship match. One thing is for sure, he is doing his heel work at best.

#1. Naah: The Women's Tag Team match

The match between The IIconics and Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch didn't click.

With that being said, Charlotte's story shouldn't have decreased their tensions. Also, the tensions shouldn't have been shown backstage. It should have been mid-match. I also don't like the way IIconics have been constantly losing since arriving on SmackDown Live. I think WWE has truly given up on the duo.

#2. Yeah: Next step to AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe

This week it was AJ Styles who cut a promo and he did it really well. He talked about how they shared a stale pizza and how they know each other, while Joe also knows his family and how Joe made it personal by calling out Styles' family.

Also, I loved the crowd chanting "This Is Awesome" even before AJ Styles could speak on the mic. He also said that at SummerSlam, 'Joe wouldn't be walking out WWE champion but he would be lucky to walk out at all'. Also, Samoa Joe laughing at AJ's word, made him look more dominant. The match has the looks of a classic going into SummerSlam. Let us see what goes out.

#2. Naah: A rematch from last week

The worst match from last week again proved to be the worst match of this week as we saw Lana Vs Zelina Vega again. The match was worst considering it was unwatchable. Also, it again looked like a step back to Women's Revolution as the match was a type of Divas' thing due to it being short and ugly.

Also, again it showed tensions between Aiden English and Rusev as he again cost Lana the match while he was told not to be ringside during the match. But one thing is for sure, Lana and Zelina Vega shouldn't fight again.

#3. Yeah: Daniel Bryan and The Miz segment

Daniel Bryan and The Miz again proved why their match is the must-see. Byron Saxton was in the ring interviewing The Miz who was on the Titantron. Byron asked about his match with Daniel Bryan, the Miz said he doesn't need a match with Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, Bryan needs it and The Miz should be the WWE Champion. He then went personal by saying Bryan has been crying at home for 2 years while he was working day and night. After that, Bryan attacked The Miz but was hit by a vase by him.

The segment was fun and again the Miz proved why he has the best promo skills on SmackDown. Also, these segments have been building hype for their match at SummerSlam which was confirmed tonight.

Cannot say- Nor Yeah Nor Naah: The Tag Team match

The tag team match stole the show again. The match between The New Day and The Bar was the best match of the week. The two teams again showed why they are the best tag teams in the WWE. Also, the teams led the fans to chant "This Is Awesome".

Then, why was it a NAAH? This was because of the outcome of the match. The New Day defeated The Bar to go to SummerSlam and face Bludgeon Brothers. The New Day have lost to Bludgeon Brothers before, so WWE should have considered giving a type of dream match between The Bludgeon Brothers and The Bar, but they are going with The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers. Let us see how it goes
