Three dream matches for the Rock if he returns
Speculations about the Rock returning to WWE have intensified following Summer Slam after Elias called out the Rock in the next RAW event after Summer Slam. The Rock, who was once a mainstream star for the company, is now making it big in Hollywood but has never ruled out a return to the WWE ring. Recently, he admitted that he really wanted to return to the WWE ring in an interview with WWE's Kathy Kelley. While it remains unclear if the Rock's current busy schedule in Hollywood will make him available as full-time WWE Superstar, it is not unusual for WWE to make time for its top wrestlers to wrestle part-time if there is an extreme need to do so.
John Cena and Brock Lesnar are great examples of WWE's flexible booking policies for its top performers if the need arises. Lesnar, though remains one of the highest paid WWE athletes, his schedule with the company was flexible, requiring him to appear on WWE shows on fewer occasions and never more than necessary. The same goes for John Cena, whose desire to work in Hollywood has limited his time for wrestling. This means it will be likely for WWE to make time for the Rock should he decide to return and make him appear in fewer events and shows. Should that happen, these are the possible dream matches that many WWE fans will watch out for.
#3 The Rock vs Bobby Lashley
Though they are both great wrestlers, Bobby Lashley and the Rock have never faced off in a WWE ring. This is because they crossed paths in the business. The Rock exited the scene just before Lashley's came onto the scene.
However, both of them remain one of the finest of their generation. Lashley has made known his adulation of the Rock and his desire to face the rock in a WWE ring. Lashley is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the RAW brand. Should the Rock decide to come back to WWE, many fans would finally be happy to see him wrestle with Lashley in what promises to be a great feud.
