Hell in a Cell takes place live from the AT&T Stadium in San Antonio, Texas this Sunday night and will see Braun Strowman cash in his Money in the Bank contract inside Satan's Structure as he challenges Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.

There are currently eight matches on the official card for the show that include AJ Styles defending his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe, Becky Lynch challenging Charlotte for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Ronda Rousey defending the Raw Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss and Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton stepping inside the cell to settle their differences.

WWE Hell in a Cell usually takes place in October, but because of the all-women's pay-per-view making its debut this year, the event is a month early for the first time in its history.

#5 A Charismatic debut

Jeff Hardy is one of the best-known wrestlers in the world, he has been on the wrestling circuit for more than two decades and has worked for a number of promotions outside of WWE in recent years, but one thing that Hardy has never done is step inside Hell in a Cell.

This weekend, The Charismatic Enigma will be stepping inside Satan's Structure for the first time as he hopes to finally vanquish The Viper, who has had his sights set on Hardy ever since Extreme Rules. The tension between these two men reached boiling point this week on SmackDown Live when Hardy faced Shinsuke Nakamura and was attacked by Orton mid-way through the match. It was Hardy who came out on top, but it sent a clear message to the WWE Universe, that this one won't be for the faint-hearted.

#4 The Shield at Hell in a Cell

The Shield made their debut at Hell in a Cell back in 2013 and over the past five years, the three men have been part of a number of interesting matches both with and against one another. This is the first time since their debut that all three men have been on the card for the event, and it's also the first time that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have teamed up at Hell in a Cell.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns teamed up back in 2013 before Rollins and Ambrose faced off in 2014, Rollins took on Kane, Reigns took on Bray Wyatt in 2015 before the show was Raw exclusive in 2016 which means Dean Ambrose was missing and SmackDown exclusive last year which means that Rollins and Reigns weren't part of it.

It's been a long five years for The Shield, but finally, all three men are a part of the Hell in a Cell card and could play a huge part in helping Reigns retain.

#3 No mid-card title defenses

Nakamura has been overlooked this weekend

Both The United States Championship and the Intercontinental Championships have been overlooked heading into Hell in a Cell, with Shinsuke Nakamura not officially part of the show and Seth Rollins fighting for the Tag Team Championships alongside Dean Ambrose instead.

The last time WWE forgot about the mid-card titles was back at Elimination Chamber earlier this year when neither title was defended. It appears that when there is a big gimmick match added as part of the show, WWE forgets that their mid-card titles need storylines too.

#2 Alexa Bliss' Raw dominance

Alexa Bliss takes on Ronda Rousey this weekend at Hell in a Cell in her contractual rematch following her loss to the former UFC Champion back at SummerSlam. This is Rousey's first Women's Championship defense in WWE, but it's also the first time this year that Bliss has been fighting for the Championship rather than defending it.

Bliss has been part of every Raw Women's Championship match since she was moved over to the flagship show back in 2017 and for a huge percentage of those matches, she has been the Champion defending against the likes of Bayley, Sasha Banks or Mickie James.

This is also both Ronda and Alexa's debut match at a Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

#1 Randy Orton owns the Cell

Randy Orton takes on Jeff Hardy inside Hell in a Cell on Sunday night, but whilst Hardy has no idea what awaits him in just four days time, Orton definitely knows his way around a cell.

Orton has been inside Hell in a Cell six times throughout the course of his career, which makes him fourth in the list of all-time appearances behind WWE legends The Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels. Orton's first appearance inside Hell in a Cell came back in 2005 against The Undertaker when he was just 25 years old, he has also won three of his six matches inside the steel, which means that he takes a 50% winning average into his match this weekend.
