The Superstars of Monday Night Raw set up shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina, for a Live Event, and Roman Reigns was back in the main event position. It looks like John Cena's appearance on the Raw Live Event in Columbus, Georgia, was just a one-off.

The card also featured Sheamus & Cesaro defending the Raw Tag Team Championships, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose joining forces to take on The Miz & Curtis Axel and a six-woman tag team match with a returning Mickie James - who has been absent from WWE TV - as the special guest referee.

#1 Sheamus & Cesaro (c) vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Championships

The Hardy Boyz continue to tease the Broken Gimmick heavily, but at this point in time, Sheamus and Cesaro appear to have their number. The reigning Champions are enjoying a new lease on life, and they didn't suffer an upset in Fayetteville.

#2 Goldust vs. R-Truth

This was a rather short match which Goldust managed to win. After the pin fall was administered, R-Truth picked up the microphone and said, " This was my bad, but Goldust will get got."

#3 Jack Gallagher vs. TJP

These two performers have worked together on numerous occasions in the last few months, and they appear to have developed a good chemistry with each other. On this occasion, Jack Gallagher left as the victor.

#4 Bray Wyatt vs. Apollo Crews

This match-up made no sense on paper because of the disparity in the positioning of these Superstars. To nobody's surprise, Bray Wyatt beat Apollo Crews and left with another comprehensive win.

#5 Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. The Miz & Curtis Axel

The A-Lister cut a heel promo and refused to defend the Intercontinental Championship in what he described as a podunk city, so a tag team match was set up instead.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were reluctant to team up on television, and their chemistry also left a lot to be desired. However, there were no such problems on this show as the former Shield Members picked up a routine victory.

#6 Sasha Banks, Bayley and Dana Brooke vs. Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax and Emma with Mickey James as the special guest referee

In recent months, the Superstars in the Raw Women's Division have been featured in six woman tag team matches at Live Events. However, this particular bout had a twist because Mickey James — who has been an active participant in a number of these encounters and absent from WWE T— was chosen to be the special guest referee.

We're not sure if this is foreshadowing a match from an upcoming Raw or pay-per-view, but the babyfaces picked up the victory on this occasion.

#7 Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson

Elias Samson destroyed Finn Balor on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw. However, there was no joy for the Drifter in this match as the Irishman used his trademark finishing sequence to capture the spoils.

#8 Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman was almost murdered at Extreme Rules, but he was back to work Fayetteville. The Monster Among Men got himself disqualified after using the steps to assault Roman Reigns. Strowman continued the onslaught after the bell, but Roman Reigns fought back and speared him through a table that was propped up in the corner.
