WWE Live Results - Abu Dhabi, UAE - December 7, 2017

Sasha
Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss made history in Abu Dhabi Thursday...

The Monday Night Raw roster is embarking on an overseas tour that will make stops in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and New Delhi, India. Thursday evening in Abu Dhabi, the WWE Live tour stopped at the Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium to entertain the WWE Universe.

With no Raw-branded pay per view until the Royal Rumble, you would think the times are quiet, but they are far from it. Roman Reigns recently defeated The Miz to become the new WWE Intercontinental Championship; while a group known as Absolution has decimated the Women's Division the past three weeks.

The WWE Live event in Abu Dhabi saw history made for the first time ever there was a women's match. I covered the details surrounding this landmark moment earlier in the week, and you can check it out at this link.

In addition to the women's match, there were six other matches on this card with a total of two title matches. The WWE Universe in Abu Dhabi were treated to the continuation of the feud between Braun Strowman and Kane as well as The Shield in the main event.

#1 Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Ever
Ever since Enzo Amore became WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Kalisto has been a thorn in his side

The first match of the evening in Abu Dhabi was a title match between Enzo Amore and Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match.

At one point, Enzo had a clause that basically prevented the entire Cruiserweight Division from being able to contend for his title. To fix that situation, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle brought Kalisto into the division.

Kalisto was able to take the title from Enzo in October, but the reign only lasted nine days, and Amore has held the title ever since. After the Abu Dhabi event, Enzo's second reign as champ would continue.

Result: Enzo Amore d. Kalisto to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

#2: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews vs. Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas

The Good
The Good Brothers of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

The WWE Universe of Abu Dhabi was treated to a tag team triple threat match for the second contest of the evening as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson took on Titus Worldwide and The Miztourage.

All three of these teams are in a little bit of a slide lately as Titus Worldwide has felt the wrath of Samoa Joe, The Miztourage lost The Miz for several weeks due to a Shield Triple Powerbomb (he's actually filming The Marine 6), and Gallows and Anderson have been in limbo as of late.

On this night, Titus and Apollo got the job done as they may try to shift from singles competition and try to raise the stock of Titus Worldwide in the tag division.

Result: Titus World Wide d. Gallows & Anderson and The Miztourage

#3: Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor

An old feud is reignited next on the third match of the evening in Abu Dhabi as the "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt takes on Finn Balor.

Both men have moved on from this feud on Monday Night Raw as Balor is caught in the middle of Kane's rampage on the show lately; while Wyatt may have WOKEN Matt Hardy to have a whole new problem on his hands.

On this night, the leader of the Balor Club was victorious as maybe Wyatt had the Broken Brilliance on his mind.

Result: Finn Balor def. Bray Wyatt

#4 Braun Strowman vs. Kane

One of the most brutal feuds going on in the WWE right now is between Braun Strowman and Kane. Strowman calls himself a "Monster Among Men"; which offends Kane as he wants to be the only monster to rule Monday nights.

Over the past couple of weeks, these monsters have brutally attacked each other with vicious chair shots to each other's throats. The feud spilled into Abu Dahbi on Thursday and the fact that there wasn't a result is not a surprise.

Result: Braun Strowman d. Kane by DQ

#5 Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

The next match of the evening was historic. Sasha Banks took on Alexa Bliss for the WWE Raw Women's Championship in the first ever women's match in the WWE to take place in the United Arab Emirates.

For more information on the background of this monumental landmark for women's wrestling, check out the article I wrote earlier this week here on Sportskeeda.

As of late, both Banks and Bliss have felt the wrath of the new group Absolution consisting of Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville. Thankfully on this night, they didn't have to watch their own backs and were able to have a great championship match.

Result: Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks to retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship

#6 Jason Jordan vs. Elias

The second-to-last match of the evening saw Kurt Angle's biological son Jason Jordan take on someone he's been feuding with Elias. In the photo above prior to WWE Tables Ladders & Chairs, Jordan greeted Elias by tossing produce his way.

Elias would eventually get his revenge by absolutely destroying Jordan with one his guitars during a recent match between the two on Monday Night Raw.

These two would clash again in Abu Dhabi, and even though Jason Jordan has suffered through a knee injury as of late, he was able to overcome and defeat the man formerly known as The Drifter.

Result: Jason Jordan d. Elias

#7: The Shield vs. Samoa Joe & The Bar

It is now time for the main event of the evening in Abu Dhabi as The Shield made their way to the ring and would take on a trio they have feuded recently with in Samoa Joe and The Bar.

After Roman Reigns defeated Elias last week on Monday Night Raw for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, he was choked out by Samoa Joe. This week on Raw, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins had a shot at The Bar's WWE Raw Tag Team Championships, but thanks to the interference of Joe, they didn't get the victory.

The Shield were able to get some sort of revenge in Abu Dhabi as they were able to get the victory to send the crowd home happy.

Result: The Shield def. Samoa Joe & The Bar

After the match, Triple H would make a surprise entrance into the ring and confront Roman Reigns ahead of their match on Friday night as the WWE will hold another show in Abu Dhabi.
