What's the story?
The Mixed Match Challenge may be doing more than just given the WWE Universe excellent light-hearted matches between unique pairings. It might also be bringing WWE Superstars closer together, and I mean really close.
In case you didn't know...
Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman were thrown together by the Mixed Match Challenge, a Facebook Watch exclusive mixed- tag-team tournament featuring Superstars from RAW and SmackDown. Since then they've been nothing but great together.
The heart of the matter
Clearly, Alexa and Braun are getting along, but there definitely seems to be some suggestion from the WWE's part that we might be getting our next on-screen couple after Enzo Amore and Nia Jax's budding relationship was cut short.
In their Mixed Match Challenge post-victory in-ring interview, the pair both said that they thought each other was cute, and bizarrely both Braun and Alexa had massive smiles on their faces. Something we're not accustomed to seeing all that often.
Regardless of whether or not Braun and Alexa end up an onscreen item (in real life Alexa Bliss is engaged to Buddy Murphy), their backstage vignettes have been well worth it. Here are some more.
What's next?
Team Little Big are through to the next round of the Mixed Match Challenge by beating Naomi and Jimmy Uso, who are married in real-life, proving that the MMC is a real love affair for the WWE. At this point as well, given that Strowman is on an impressively dominating singles run and Bliss is still RAW Women's Champion the pair are favorites to win.

If only one thing from the Mixed Match Challenge transfers over to the main roster I want it to be this partnership between 'The Monster Among Men' and 'The Goddess'. I just hope Bliss doesn't break poor Strowman's heart
