In a recent interview with TMZ, WWE executive Stephanie McMahon opened up on Ronda Rousey potentially joining the WWE.

She revealed that although the WWE and Rousey are yet to ink a deal, the promotion’s offer for ‘Rowdy’ to come to the ring still stands.

‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Women’s MMA and is a proven PPV draw in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

Besides, Rousey is also a self-confessed professional wrestling fan, and has appeared on WWE television programming alongside the Rock, confronting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 31.

The heart of the matter

Upon being probed about the chance that fans get to see Rousey inside the WWE ring, Stephanie McMahon stated. “Absolutely (the offer) still stands.”

Furthermore, McMahon sent out a rather subtle but direct message to Rousey and said, “We’d love to have you in WWE.”

Additionally, McMahon doubled down on her statement, insinuating that the WWE higher-ups would love to have Rousey compete for the company.

Ronda Rousey recently tied the knot with fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne.

She recently cut a promo alongside her MMA Horsewomen brethren opposite the WWE’s Four Horsewomen, which in turn led to widespread speculation among fans and experts regarding her possible switch to the WWE in the near future.

Ronda Rousey may have ended up on the losing side in her past two consecutive UFC bouts however her star-power still remains intact.
