WWE Rumor Mill: Next Paul Heyman Guy revealed

WWE SummerSlam 2015
Brock Lesnar is the current client of Paul Heyman.

What's the story?

Sources at 'comicbook.com' hint that Kevin Owens could be revealed as the new Paul Heyman guy, in the near future, following the departure of Brock Lesnar from WWE.

In case you didn't know...

Paul Heyman is Lesnar's agent as of today, but it looks like their ties could be cut due to the Conqueror losing his Universal title at Summerslam.

Moreover, the Beast Incarnate is scheduled to face Daniel Cormier after having a spat with him during UFC 226; this makes him all the more likely to leave pro wrestling for his MMA career.

In other news, Kevin Owens stunned the WWE Universe this week when he announced his decision to quit WWE. It wasn't hard to see this coming because, as a matter of fact, he was recently squashed by Braun Strowman at Summerslam, extending his poor run in pay-per-views, and has also been out of the title picture for a long time.

The heart of the matter

Brock Lesnar's association with WWE is may be uncertain right now, but they look intent on keeping Heyman on screen regardless. And, 'comicbook.com' believes they plan to do so by finding the Devil's Advocate a new agent to look after.

The new agent, the same source reports, is going to be Kevin Owens who will make his return after quitting the promotion on last Raw.

KO is a traditional heel and perfectly fits the criteria for being the next Paul Heyman Guy. This could very well be in the plans of WWE writers, who have not found anything interesting for KO to involve in over past several months.

What's next?

Paul Heyman is not just a great manager, but also one of the best mic talents in the history of pro wrestling. On the other hand, Owens is a potent performer, in dire need of reinventing his character. Becoming the new client of the Devil's Advocate would be a step in the right direction for him.

In the past, we have seen how profitable siding with Heyman has turned out for wrestlers like CM Punk and Curtis Axel, who reigned as the WWE Champion and the Intercontinental Champion, respectively, during their time as his agents.

All the building anticipation guarantees that the WWE Universe would be eagerly waiting to see how KO's return pans out, with their one eye on Paul Heyman's movements.
