This week's episode of SmackDown Live had a sudden impromptu Title Match

SmackDown Live kicked off with AJ Styles coming out to the ring. Styles called Daniel Bryan out to the ring saying that he had something to say to him. Daniel Bryan came out and talked about how much the WWE Championship means to him. While he didn't have anything against AJ Styles, he said he would take the Championship from him at Crown Jewel.

Styles admitted that last week he hit Bryan with the Pele kick on purpose. The two almost came to blows until Shane McMahon came out. Shane set up a title match between the two and it was up next.

AJ hit Daniel Bryan with a dropkick but was sent to the outside by Bryan. Daniel Bryan hit Styles with the Suicide Dive and appeared to have hurt his own knee. Bryan continued to fight through the pain and landed the Yes Kicks. Styles reversed a charging knee strike with a dropkick and went to the top rope but Bryan stopped him.

Bryan followed Styles to the top rope and hit him with a modified suplex. Styles was caught in a Yes lock but got out of it. Bryan was sent to the outside where he hurt his knee again. He sent Styles into the steps, returning the favour. Bryan hit dropkicks into the corner, and then set Styles up for a Hurricanrana. Styles almost caught him but Bryan got the Hurricanrana in.

Bryan reversed the Phenomenal Forearm and hit Styles with a triangle lock. Styles got up and hit the Styles Clash. Styles then locked in the Calf Crusher on the injured leg and Daniel Bryan tapped out.

Result: AJ Styles def. Daniel Bryan

While Bryan and AJ were celebrating after the match, Samoa Joe attacked Styles. Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on AJ. Bryan interferes but Joe stamped on his knee and locked in the Coquina Clutch on him too. Joe stood up, holding the title and posed over his two victims.

Big E vs. Cesaro - Trick or Streetfight

The New Day came out dressed as Edge, Christian, and Gangrel of The Brood to celebrate Halloween. E and Cesaro were fighting it out when the rest of the Superstars interfered. Sheamus hit Kofi with the plate of pancakes while The Big Show sent Xavier bobbing for apples.

In the ring, Cesaro slammed E onto a big pile of Jack' o-lanterns and Big E returned the favour. Big Show was about to hit Kofi and Woods with a double chokeslam but the New Day spit red liquid into his face at the last moment. Big E reversed a finisher in the ring and hit the Big Ending on Cesar for the win.

Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & The Miz traded words backstage while Shane asked them which one of them would prove to be the best in the world at Crown Jewel. Miz called Hardy the long-lost member of the Insane Clown Posse while Shane warned everyone that if any of them lost against a RAW Superstar at the WWE World Cup, they would no longer be welcome on SmackDown.

AJ spoke to Paige backstage and got her to set up a match between him and Samoa Joe instead of Daniel Bryan at Crown Jewel. Paige was hesitant but agreed in the end.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. R-Truth

Nakamura was sent outside early on by Truth while Carmella joined the veteran for a dance break. Nakamura returned and caught Truth in an abdominal stretch. Truth got on his feet and flipped Nakamura over.

R-Truth charged at Nakamura but got smacked in the head by the US Champion. Nakamura set Truth up for a big move but Truth landed on his feet. Nakamura managed to deflect Truth and then hit the Kinshasa for the win.

Result: Shinsuke Nakamura def. R-Truth

A very cheerful Becky Lynch came out and simply said "I won!". She then vowed to rip Ronda Rousey's arm off at Survivor Series.

Jeff Hardy & Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz & Randy Orton

Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton started off the match. Hardy smashed Orton's head on the turnbuckles and then went for the Twist of Fate, but was stopped by the Miz. Hardy tried for the Twist of Fate again, but Orton pushed him away. The Miz pushed him down from the Whisper in the Wind attempt and Orton stomped on Hardy continuing to take him apart.

The Miz took cheap shots at a fallen Hardy while the ref was distracted. Orton hit big elbows to Hardy on the apron and got a near fall. Jeff finally hit the Whisper in the Wind and made the tag but so did Orton. Mysterio hit a huge DDT but took a backbreaker. The Miz missed the Skull Crushing Finale. Rey and Jeff hit the Poetry in Motion, a 619 and finally a Swanton Bomb. Randy came in with RKOs to both competitors and then his own teammate after the match.

Result: Jeff Hardy & Rey Mysterio def. The Miz & Randy Orton
