We are going to see Brock Lesnar facing Roman Reigns again, Samoa Joe challenges AJ Styles in a dream match, Ronda Rousey taking on Alexa Bliss and much more.

WWE has treated SummerSlam as the biggest party of the summer ie the second biggest event after WrestleMania. WWE might book it carefully to make it memorable. However, repetitive matches might lead to some bad taste among the fans, but there are some matches which have the calibre to steal the show.

#5. Ronda Rousey destroys Alexa Bliss

We might see Alexa getting destroyed again at SummerSlam

WWE has built the storyline between Ronda Rousey and Alexa Bliss perfectly. They have shown Alexa's heel antics perfectly. Ronda Rousey has been red-hot due to actions of Alexa Bliss, but Bliss always finds a way to escape.

However, this will likely come to an end at SummerSlam. While things will get physical between the two, we should expect to see Ronda absolutely dominate Alexa and give her a beating for the ages. The fans never wanted Ronda to become Women's Champion at Money In the Bank(after all it was her first singles match), but now she has shown what she can do.

Not only that, it is truly Ronda's time to win the championship and dethrone Bliss from the top. Losing to Ronda won't affect Bliss as she is 5-time Women's Champion. Let us see how dominant WWE books Ronda Rousey.

#4. Dean Ambrose betrays Seth Rollins

We might see the darker side of Dean Ambrose this Sunday

Dean Ambrose returned to Raw this week after being sidelined due to a tricep injury for 9 months. He evened the odds for his Shield buddy against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. However, it would have been better if Dean Ambrose would have returned at SummerSlam itself. There are suggestions that tell that creatives have even bigger in store for The Lunatic Fringe.

SummerSlam is the time Dean Ambrose to turn from lunatic fringe to unhinged lunatic. At SummerSlam, we might see Dean Ambrose turning his back on his friend and unleash his darker side. Turning on Seth Rollins would be a perfect revenge of Dean Ambrose on him like he did in 2014. It would also help keep Rollins strong as he would not lose clean.

If Ambrose turns heel, we might see one of the best heels in WWE today. A vicious and cocky Ambrose would be the one the fans are waiting for and it will also solidify his character as one of the best.

#3. The Miz picks up the victory

The
The Miz might beat Daniel Bryan with his heel-antics

There has been a lot of drama and planning the SummerSlam match between Daniel Bryan and the Miz. Eight years in the making, the match has everything the fans need. The biggest babyface in the WWE today and the biggest heel in WWE go one-on-one to end their tensions. However, our hero Daniel Bryan might not be victorious at SummerSlam.

The entire feud has been built upon Bryan's anger surrounding the way The Miz conducts himself and ultimately cheats to win, while the A-List superstar defending himself and claiming that he made Bryan a star. On Sunday, he will likely prove that his way is effective when he figures out a way to score a cheap victory over the Yes Man.

However, this rivalry is not going to end at SummerSlam. Rumors speculate if Daniel Bryan signs a new contract with WWE, they may continue the rivalry till WrestleMania 35 where they may fight each other for the WWE Championship. It doesn't matter if The Miz takes a cheap win with him at SummerSlam.

#2. The Money In The Bank is cashed in and a new champion is crowned

Braun Strowman is the current MITB holder

No one is happy to see Brock Lesnar face Roman Reigns for the fourth time. Roman Reigns might not be popular with the fans, Brock Lesnar also suffers the same fate because of being a champion for more than 500 days and defending his title only 10 times. This has declined the credibility of the Universal Championship. WWE creatives want Roman Reigns to be the person to dethrone Brock Lesnar and it was set to happen at WrestleMania 34, but WWE avoided it due to backlash Roman would have suffered. Thus, in order to avoid a repeat of WrestleMania, WWE must have something major planned.

The fans know they are again going to suffer the same fate. That's where Money in The Bank comes into play. While MITB is currently held by Braun Strowman, he has to defend it against Kevin Owens. WWE has planned Kevin Owens Vs Roman Reigns at Hell in A Cell; that means we are seeing Kevin Owens becoming Mr. MITB and cashing it on victorious Roman Reigns in the main event.

Kevin Owens is the best heel on Raw and making him the Universal Champion is money. Even if Braun Strowman manages to defeat Kevin Owens, expect him to cash in and wreck Roman Reigns after the match. One way or another, we will have a new Universal Champion at the end of SummerSlam... and his name will not be Roman Reigns.

#1. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles steal the show

The two biggest stars in WWE collide for the biggest prize in WWE

While Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns might be another boring encounter, but don't expect the same from AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. The two biggest stars will face each other for the WWE Championship. Unlike the main event, expect the crowd to chant "This is Awesome".

AJ Styles is the best wrestler in WWE currently and he knows how to make a match must-see. Talk about Samoa Joe, the man possesses threat with both his power and speed. The man is a wrecking truck and can put anyone to sleep. Considering this, expect this match to steal the show.

WWE has considered the WWE Championship as a mid-card title and has kept WWE Championship matches between the show. Joe and Styles could prove WWE, why the match between the two should be the Main Event. If WWE lends them time and space, expect this match to be a five-star classic.
