इंडोनेशिया में चल रहे 18वें एशियाई खेलों में भारत को एक और स्वर्ण पदक मिल गया है। जिंसन जॉनसन ने 1500 मी रेस में भारत को स्वर्ण पदक दिलाया है। एशियन गेम्स 2018 में भारत का यह 12वां स्वर्ण पदक है। जॉनसन ने 3.44.72 मिनट में रेस को पूरा किया।
जिंसन जॉनसन ने इसके अलावा 800 मी में भी रजत पदक जीता था। 800 मीटर में भारत को स्वर्ण पदक दिलाने वाले मंजीत सिंह चौथे स्थान पर रहे, उन्होंने 3.46.57 मिनट में रेस को पूरा किया और वो पदक से चूक गए। ईरान के आमिर मोरादी ने रजत पदक जीता, तो बेहरीन के मोहम्मद टिओली ने कांस्य पदक जीता।
