By visiting our site and enrolling in our affiliate marketing program, you are agreeing to be bound by the following Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions. Please read these Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions before signing up and engaging in affiliate marketing activities with Sportskeeda. We may change Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of sportskeeda.com and continued engagement with the Sportskeeda affiliate marketing program implies that you accept any new or modified Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions that we come up with. Please re-visit the ' Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions' link at our site from time to time to stay updated with any changes that we may introduce.
Usage of the terms we, us, our, Sportskeeda, company shall be construed to refer to Absolute Sports Private Limited whereas any references to you, your shall be construed to mean the individual or entity enrolling/registering for the Sportskeeda Affiliate Marketing Program. This Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions document along with any documents referenced and/or annexed herein may be referred to herein after as the "Agreement"
1.Affiliate Program and Registration
a.The Sportskeeda Affiliate Program is intended to help you to be eligible for the consideration as stipulated under Annexure - A herein for marketing Sportskeeda's Content that is provided to you in the form of a URL provided by the affiliate team periodically, or one that you generate using the Affiliate dashboard or manually from the Sportskeeda website that include a unique key value ("Affiliate Links").
b.You hereby agree and understand that for the purposes of maintaining metrics, reporting statistics and processing your registration, the Company shall need to process data provided by you as well as data collected through the cookies deployed on your website and/or platform and/or social media account and hereby consent to the Company processing such data and you further represent that you shall be liable to collect any and all consent from your end users/page visitors/subscribers for the collection of such data.
c.To enrol and register for the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program, you will be required to provide valid and accurate information pertaining to yourself and the websites/platforms/social media accounts you will be using to market Sportskeeda content through the placement of Affiliate Links.
d.Sportskeeda reserves the right to reject your application to join the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program, in the event that the details provided in your application are found to be false and/or misleading.
e.Furthermore, in the event that you are found to be violative of any applicable laws, the code of conduct attached herewith as Annexure - B; if Sportskeeda finds the nature/manner of your mode of marketing and/or the nature of your content on your websites/platforms/social media accounts to be objectionable in any manner, Sportskeeda may at its sole discretion terminate your registration with the Sportskeeda Affiliate Marketing Program.
2.LICENSE
a.By permitting you to place the Affiliate Links that display Sportskeeda Content on the websites/platforms/social media accounts owned or controlled by you, you understand and acknowledge that you are only being provided with a limited license to display Sportskeeda's content through the Affiliate Links provided to you solely for the purposes of Marketing. This limited license shall be revocable and you shall be liable to stop using any and all content and Affiliate Links provided by Sportskeeda upon termination of your participation in the Affiliate Marketing Program. In the event that you continue to use any Intellectual Property that belongs to Sportskeeda after the termination of your registration with the Sportskeeda Affiliate Marketing Program, you hereby understand and acknowledge that you shall be liable to indemnify Sportskeeda form any claims, losses and/or damages that arise from some unauthorised use of Sportskeeda intellectual property.
3.COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND INDEMNIFICATION FROM BREACH OF APPLICABLE LAWS
a.In connection with your participation in the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program you will comply with all applicable laws including but not limited to ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, licenses, permits, judgments, decisions, and other requirements of any governmental authority that has jurisdiction over you. Further, in this regard, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, damage, cost, expense, or other liability (including attorney’s fees) that may arise from the breach of any applicable law.
4.REVISIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
a.We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions document along with any and all documents incorporated by way of reference or annexure herein, at any time at out sole and absolute discretion. You hereby agree and understand that you shall be solely liable to ensure that you keep aware of such revisions. If any modification or revision implemented by us is unacceptable to you, your sole recourse shall be to terminate your association with the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program and to cancel your registration. Continued involvement in the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program and the use of Affiliate Links after a revision and/or modification has been implemented shall be deemed as acceptance of such revision/modification.
5.DASHBOARD ACCESS, METRICS AND CONSIDERATION
a.As part of your participation in the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program, you shall be provided with access to a dashboard that will provide you with metrics pertaining to the eligible and valid traffic referred to Sportskeeda as a result of your participation. The metrics reflected on the dashboard are calculated by Sportskeeda and shall be deemed final when it comes to calculating your earnings.
b.You shall be eligible to consideration and payment of consideration in line with the rates, minimum thresholds and timelines as stipulated under Annexure - A.
c.In the event that Sportskeeda detects and/or becomes aware of any Invalid Traffic or ineligible traffic for which you have been paid, you shall be liable to refund such payments to Sportskeeda upon receipt of notice of the same from Sportskeeda.
d.In the event that you are eligible for consideration at rates higher than those stipulated under Annexure-A, such rates shall be as mutually decided between you and the Company and affirmed in writing via e-mail.
6.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
a.Compliance with Laws and Regulations
You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and guidelines, including but not limited to:
i.Consumer protection laws;
ii.Advertising standards (e.g., Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines in the U.S.);
iii.Anti-spam laws;
iv.Data protection and privacy laws, such as GDPR or CCPA where applicable.
It is your sole responsibility to remain updated on legal requirements and ensure that your activities conform to such requirements.
b.Accurate and Transparent Representations
i.You must present accurate, truthful, and non-misleading information about the products/services.
ii.Any claims, endorsements, or testimonials must be based on honest experiences or substantiated by evidence.
iii.You must disclose your relationship with the Company clearly and prominently in all promotional content as required by applicable laws.
c.Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
a) Engage in false, misleading, or deceptive content while sharing Sportskeeda Affiliate links/content;
b) Use unethical or unlawful marketing practices, such as spam, unauthorized emails, or black-hat SEO;
c) Engage in activities that harm the Company’s or any individual/organisation's reputation, including offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content;
d) Use unauthorized or misleading representations of the Company’s trademarks, logos, or branding.
d.Independent Nature of Relationship
a) You acknowledge that You and the Company are independent contractors and that there is no relationship of partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between you and us. You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf. You will not make any statement, whether on your website/platform/social media account or otherwise, that contradicts or may contradict anything stipulated herein. If you authorize, assist, encourage, or facilitate another person or entity to take any action related to the subject matter of this document, you will be deemed to have taken the action yourself.
7.DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
a.Company Disclaimer of Responsibility
Sportskeeda expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any claims, representations, or endorsements made by You in connection with the marketing of any Sportskeeda content under this Agreement.
b.Affiliate Indemnification Obligations
You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
(i) Your breach of this Agreement or any applicable laws and regulations;
(ii) Claims or disputes raised by third parties regarding your promotional activities;
(iii) Any act, omission, or misconduct by You in connection with the endorsement or promotion of the Sportskeeda content.
c.Affiliate Assumption of Liability
(i) You assume sole responsibility and liability for your promotional activities and any legal or regulatory consequences resulting therefrom.
(ii) The Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to Your actions.
8.GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDCTION
a.Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
b.Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Bengaluru, India.
9.CONFLICTING TERMS
a.If there is any conflict between this Agreement and other documents, this Agreement shall govern, whether such order or other documents are prior to or subsequent to this Agreement, or are signed or acknowledged by any director, officer, employee, representative or agent of Sportskeeda.
10.ENTIRE AGREEMENT
a.This Agreement along with the documents referenced herein and annexed herewith constitute the entire agreement between the parties, and no other agreement, written or oral, exists between you and Sportskeeda.
11.TERMINATION
a.Sportskeeda may terminate this Agreement and your Participation in the Sportskeeda Affiliate Program at its sole discretion at any time with immediate effect upon sending notice of termination to you via e-mail or by revoking your access to the dashboard and registration without notice.
ANNEXURE - A
Affiliate Program - Consideration, Monitoring, Payment Timelines and Minimum Threshold
1. Rates (per 1000 visits directed to the Sportskeeda website)
We will pay you based on the below-mentioned region-wise rate slab for the traffic you drive to our website. Your earnings will be calculated based on the corresponding slab for the region from which you direct traffic. For instance, if you send 1000 visits from Canada, you will receive $5, and the same applies to each region.

● CAN & AUS: $5
● UK: $2.5
● IND: $1
● ROW: $0.5
2. Incentives & Offers: You will also have the opportunity to boost your earnings through our incentives program and other offers, which are currently available or will be introduced in the future. However, it's important to meet the specified eligibility criteria for each one to receive the incentive & offer benefits. For more details please check here.
3. Invoicing & Payments
At the end of each month, you must submit an invoice reflecting your total revenue, within the first five days of the new month. Payments are processed between the 8th and 12th of the new month provided that the invoice is submitted within the first five days of the new month.
The payment options and minimum revenue criteria for each payment mode are as follows:
● Wire Transfer: $100
● PayPal: $7
● Payoneer: $7
Only Wire Transfer, PayPal, and Payoneer will be accepted as payment methods. No other options will be entertained unless explicitly updated or revised by Sportskeeda in the terms. If your monthly earnings fail to meet any of the minimum criteria mentioned above, your earnings for that month will be carried forward to the next month.
In the event of a delay, Sportskeeda will make every effort to process affiliate payments at the earliest possible opportunity. Such delays may occur due to technical glitches on the part of the bank or any involved parties, bank holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Monitor Earnings & Performance: We will provide you with access to the Affiliate Dashboard through which you can conveniently monitor the visits you've directed to our website and the corresponding earnings on a regional basis.
5. Expectation from You: Sportskeeda expects to receive high-quality traffic consisting of genuine fans and enthusiasts from different parts of the world on our website. Since we work with a lot of affiliate partners, each one of them brings users of varying quality. We rely on consumption patterns to verify the audience is genuine (not bots) and relevant.
Note: If the quality of the audience is deemed inadequate or if we observe bot traffic directed to our website, Sportskeeda reserves the right to terminate this partnership immediately until a solution is proposed by the partner deemed fit by Sportskeeda.
Disclaimer: Please note that Sportskeeda reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions, including payment rates, incentives, and any other aspects of the affiliate partnership, at any time and without prior notice.
ANNEXURE - B
Code of Conduct / Content Guidelines
This document outlines the key standards to be adhered to by all affiliate partners while sharing the Sportskeeda article(s) on their platform.
1. Avoid Fake News or Misleading Content: Affiliate partners are strictly prohibited from sharing content that is factually incorrect or deceptive. This includes:
- Misleading captions or exaggerated claims.
- Misrepresented facts or statistics.
- Rumors without verified sources.
- Manipulated or doctored images.

2. Refrain from Sharing Offensive Content: All content, including captions, images, and videos, must adhere to the community guidelines of the platform where Sportskeeda content is shared.
Prohibited Content Includes:
- Vulgar or obscene language.
- Discriminatory or offensive remarks targeting race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Content inciting hate speech, violence, or harassment.
3. Avoid Mentioning the Sportskeeda Brand (except in Shared Links): To maintain brand integrity and prevent unauthorised representation:
- Do not include the Sportskeeda name, logo, or branding in captions, social media posts, or custom graphics.
- The brand name 'Sportskeeda' should only appear in the URL of the shared article link.
- Do not imply official affiliation, endorsement, or representation unless explicitly authorised.
4. Content Must be Non-Defamatory: Affiliate partners must refrain from sharing content that could harm the reputation of any individual, organisation, or brand.
- Avoid unverified accusations or statements.
- Use neutral and factual language when discussing controversial subjects.
- Ensure the content aligns with ethical standards and does not breach privacy or confidentiality agreements.
5. Prohibition of AI-Generated Images: To ensure authenticity and protect against copyright disputes:
- Affiliates are prohibited from using AI-generated images in posts featuring Sportskeeda links.
- Always use original or royalty-free images with proper attribution.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property Compliance: Affiliate partners must respect copyright laws and intellectual property rights.
- Only share Sportskeeda content with appropriate attribution and permission.
- Avoid using copyrighted images, videos, or text without proper licensing or consent.
7. Adherence to Platform-Specific Policies: Each social media platform has its guidelines and policies regarding content sharing. Affiliates must:
- Familiarise themselves with the guidelines of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
- Avoid actions that may lead to content removal, account suspension, or penalisation by the platform.
Enforcement and Compliance
Affiliate partners must adhere to these guidelines at all times. Non-compliance may result in consequences ranging from temporary suspension to permanent removal from the affiliate program, depending on the severity of the violation.
