Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant was recently spotted interacting with a few kids in the team camp. The DC players are currently in Delhi, preparing for their upcoming game in IPL 2024 against the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday (April 20).

The Capitals are high on confidence after winning their last two games against the. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) while playing away from home. With three wins from seven games, DC occupies the sixth spot in the points table at the moment.

Rishabh Pant has been a consistent performer with the bat for his side so far, scoring 210 runs at a strike rate of 156.72, including two half-centuries. He has also been excellent behind the wickets with accurate glove work.

The Delhi franchise shared a video on their official Instagram handle this afternoon to give fans a glimpse of Pant off the field. In it, the DC captain could be seen having a fun interaction with a few kids. The video was captioned:

"If I was the selector, he'd be my wicketkeeper in the World Cup squad" - Stuart Broad on Rishabh Pant

Former English pacer Stuart Broad recently picked Rishabh Pant as his choice for the wicketkeeper-batter role in India's squad for the upcoming 2024 World Cup.

During a discussion on Star Sports regarding the matter, Broad backed Pant for the role, saying:

"The selection for the Indian team is up in the air a little bit. You have some players pending in that team. Rishabh Pant's probably the one on whom there's a lot of discussion about. There was a shot I saw him play against KKR, a no-look flick over deep square leg for six. "

Broad further continued:

"The moment he played that shot, I thought, he has got to be in that T20 World Cup squad. He's ready. He's good to go. I'd like to see him be an Impact Sub in a couple of games, taking a bit of the workload off his shoulders. He's a match-winner, so I think if I was the selector, he'd be my wicketkeeper in the World Cup squad."
