आईपीएल में दिल्ली की टीम की शुरुआत दिल्ली डेयरडेविल्स के नाम से हुयी थी लेकिन साल 2019 के ऑक्शन से पहले टीम ने डेयरडेविल्स की जगह अपने नाम में कैपिटल्स जोड़ लिया। दिल्ली की टीम ने जब से नाम बदला तब से उनके प्रदर्शन में भी जबरदस्त सुधर आया है और टीम इस सीजन तो फाइनल तक भी पहुंची थी। आईपीएल में दिल्ली की टीम ने अभी तक एक बार भी ट्रॉफी नहीं जीती है। दिल्ली की टीम ने भी आरसीबी की तरह ना ही ट्रॉफी जीती है और ना ही फेयर प्ले का अवार्ड कभी जीता है।

#1 कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स

आईपीएल में कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स टीम भी काफी प्रसिद्द है , इसका पीछे एक मुख्य कारण टीम के मालिक बॉलीवुड के बादशाह शाहरुख़ खान हैं। शुरूआती 4 साल में एक भी ख़िताब ना जीत पाने वाली केकेआर ने साल 2012 और 2014 में गौतम गंभीर की कप्तानी में दो बार आईपीएल की ट्रॉफी जीती। गंभीर ने इस टीम को एक अलग ही स्तर की टीम बनाई थी। हालाँकि उनके जाने के बाद टीम का प्रदर्शन गिरता ही जा रहा है। बात करे फेयरप्ले अवार्ड की तो इस टीम ने अभी तक एक बार भी यह अवार्ड नहीं जीता है।
