वेस्टइंडीज की टीम श्रीलंका के खिलाफ मैच में 20 रनों की हार के साथ ही टी20 टूर्नामेंट से बाहर हो गई है। पहले खेलते हुए श्रीलंका की टीम ने 3 विकेट पर 189 रन का बड़ा स्कोर खड़ा किया। इसके बाद वेस्टइंडीज के बल्लेबाज लक्ष्य का पीछा बेहतर तरीके से नहीं कर पाए। कुछ विकेट गिरने के बाद लगातार उनके ऊपर दबाव बढ़ता रहा। श्रीलंका ने इस बार तूफानी अंदाज में प्रदर्शन किया। बल्लेबाजी के बाद गेंदबाजी में भी उन्होंने आक्रमण किया। वेस्टइंडीज की टीम को मजबूत माना जा रहा था लेकिन इस तरह से वे टूर्नामेंट से बाहर होंगे, इसके बारे में किसी ने नहीं सोचा था। मैच के बाद ट्विटर पर कई प्रतिक्रियाएं आई।
