"Bro did not cook", "Tunnel vision on and off the pitch" - Real Madrid fans mock Barcelona star after he gets UCL predictions wrong

Real Madrid fans have ridiculed Barcelona star Joao Felix on social media after he got all of his UEFA Champions League quarterfinal predictions wrong.

Felix backed Manchester City, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Barca to advance to the semifinals of Europe's elite club competition. That didn't happen though as all four were sent packing this week.

City suffered a 4-3 loss to Real Madrid on penalties after an enthralling 4-4 draw on aggregate. The Gunners crashed out to Bayern Munich via a 2-1 aggregate loss. Felix's parent club Atletico were knocked out by Borussia Dortmund, losing 5-4 on aggregate.

The Portugal international played in both legs of Barcelona's hugely controversial exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain. His side lost 6-4 on aggregate but played most of the second leg with 10 men after Ronald Araujo was sent off.

It means Felix got every prediction wrong including tipping Barca to reach the semifinals. His predictions were made last week when none of the four who exited were behind in their respective ties.

Real Madrid fan account Madrid Zone posted Felix's predictions on their X (formerly Twitter) account. Fans responded by mocking the Barca loanee.

One fan joked that the 24-year-old lacked vision while playing and predicting:

"Tunnel vision on and off the pitch."

Another fan pointed out the former Benfica wonderkid's errors:

"Bro did not cook."

"Me doing my four fold accumulator," another fan joked.

"0/4 he missed like he does in games," one fan wrote.

Joan Laporta allegedly urges Barcelona to put a halt to Real Madrid's surge towards a treble

Joan Laporta looked to galvanize a crestfallen Barcelona side.

Real Madrid head into the Champions League semifinals where they'll face Bundesliga giants Bayern. The first leg takes place at the Allianz Arena on April 30 and the second at the Santiago Bernabeu on May 4.

However, Los Blancos still have a La Liga title win and are in a promising position to dethrone Barcelona. They sit top of the Spanish top-flight, with an eight-point lead over their El Clasico rivals and seven games left.

The title rivals clash at the Bernabeu on Sunday (April 21) in a battle with huge title implications. The Catalan giants must win to keep themselves in touch with Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reportedly sent his players a simple but firm message ahead of El Clasico (via Barca Universal):

"We must go and win on Sunday."

Real Madrid already won the Supercopa de Espana this season when they beat 10-man Barca 4-1 in the final. That's the first of what could be a continental treble for Los Merengues.
