WWE सर्वाइवर सीरीज के मेन शो की शुरुआत मेंस टीम रॉ और टीम स्मैकडाउन के 5-ऑन-5 एलिमिनेशन मैच से हुई। इस मैच की सबसे खराब बात ये रही कि स्मैकडाउन टीम विपक्षी टीम के किसी भी सुपरस्टार को एलिमिनेट नहीं कर पाई।

एक-एक कर स्मैकडाउन टीम के सभी सुपरस्टार्स एलिमिनेट होते रहे और रॉ टीम के सभी सुपरस्टार्स ने एक-एक एलिमिनेशन अपने नाम किया। ये हार सैथ रॉलिंस, केविन ओवेंस जैसे बड़े सुपरस्टार्स के कैरेक्टर को काफी नुकसान पहुंचा सकती है।
