ज़ेवियर वुड्स अपने WWE मेन रोस्टर डेब्यू के बाद से ही द न्यू डे का अभिन्न हिस्सा रहे हैं। दिसंबर 2018 में वुड्स ने कुआलालंपुर में अपने साथ घटी एक घटना के बारे में बताया था।

इस दौरान एक कस्टम अफसर ने वुड्स से पूछा कि क्या वो WWE में काम करते हैं। द न्यू डे ने हां में जवाब दिया। लेकिन इसके बाद अफसर ने उन्हें कोफी किंग्सटन की संज्ञा दी थी।
