Punk & Bryan battled in a back and forth affair for the ages, putting on a classic bout that stands as their lone WWE pay-per-view match. Punk survived Daniel Bryan's devastating Yes Lock and went on to super plex Bryan through a table before pinning him for the victory in what was one of many successful WWE Championship defenses.<p>

The two men battled valiantly to put on a wrestling classic, a rare five star bout according to Dave Meltzer. The result shook the wrestling world to its core: John Cena has been dethroned by the anti-corporate wrestler's wrestler. If this were the only accomplishment in Punk's illustrious WWE career, he'd still be an inevitable future WWE Hall of Famer.<p>
