CM PIn what many consider to be the greatest wrestling match of all time, CM Punk shocked the world when he defeated John Cena and left his hometown All State arena with the WWE Championship. CM Punk was the hottest thing in wrestling, coming off his pipe bomb promo, in which he tore down wrestling's third wall and insulted the entire McMahon family. Much of the wrestling world considered John Cena to be a contrived McMahon invention and although Cena was technically the babyface in the match, you wouldn't be able to tell by listening to the Chicago, Illinois crowd. Cena received deafening boos and CM Punk a raucous applause that have arguably been unparelleled in the history of professional wrestling. The two men battled valiantly to put on a wrestling classic, a rare five star bout according to Dave Meltzer. The result shook the wrestling world to its core: John Cena has been dethroned by the anti-corporate wrestler's wrestler. If this were the only accomplishment in Punk's illustrious WWE career, he'd still be an inevitable future WWE Hall of Famer.<p>
